Good first half...should be ahead by 2 TBH, Stoke haven't offered much going forward but there again our back 4 are looking a bit rocky...and while Stoke are in the game they always seem to find a way to win...

Well, it was a good half from us, but once again we are lacking the end product. Hopefully we can continue to play well after the break for once this season.

We look good. As usual, we can't score from open play. Do we have an attacking coach?

Costa's lack of real ability/complete loss of confidence really hampering us.

Baba has looked poor again, worried about him getting a second booking.

I'm in a small pub with my girlfriend. There's a bunch of Stoke fans sitting opposite the room from us. They've just gone to play pool and one of them turned to the screen and said "f**king rentboys!"

I reckon if we score and don't really need to commit to attack, they'll never break through and we'll win.

Charlie Adam makes me feel physically sick

Probably the best half we have played this season, apart from getting that goal. We looked comfortable with the ball, passing well, sound movement, defended in good shape. Downsides are Costa still looked slow, Ramires messed up a couple of good chances with pass or shot, and Baba is on a yellow against their best player. Their Gk is in great form, will take something good to beat him. Keep this up and something will happen for us.

Don't really understand critisism for the performance so far, we're trying to get some form going and I think we've pretty lively so far.

 

We're not going to start ripping it up overnight, it's going to be a gradual recovery and there's signs of it out there.

Shaqiri vs. Baba is a mismatch that makes me nervous.

Other than that this has been a very positive performance so far. Lots if reasons to be positive, not that you would know it from many of the posts on here.

Hope William's injury isn't a bad one. Losing him would be a massive blow.

We do play good, we're controlling the game, everything is good except our finishing. Costa is not in the game, we don't shoot enough. I think we should allow Baba and Azpi to attack more, we will have more players in our attack and Stoke will be in trouble. 

 

I hope Willian is alright, we can't lose him. COME ON CHELS!!!

Need to find a way to get the ball upfield without Hazard and Willian dropping deep to get the ball. Hope to see more pace on the ball second half, think Fabregas should be subbed in

Not a bad half. Costa hasn't been great again. Only real gripe is the lack of runs into the box from midfield. Still think we will this though.

Everything is exactly back to normal! We look confident, we're completely dominating possession, playing some lovely intricate football, yet we don't look like we'd put the ball in their net if we played till Wednesday. I expect it's going to be 0-0 but I'm praying we can somehow nick one.
