January 24, 201610 yr They asked this question on 606 this evening. Got me thinking... In the Premier League, obviously, we need to avoid relegation, I think top 4 is unlikely and not bothered about the Europa League. So, when we're safe let's give the kids a chance, as many as feasible, and see how they perform. Aside from the league let's throw everything at trying to win the FA Cup and Champions League.

You got it spot on, go for the cups and give the kids a chance in the league.
January 25, 201610 yr An FA Cup win, or at least make it to the semis or the Final, give it everything if we run in to one of the top teams, also we need to throw everything at PSG and beating them would be a nice achievement if it happened, I can't imagine us winning it though. We need to go for a Europa League place in the league, or we'll have no European football at all next season.
January 25, 201610 yr To win the FA Cup if possible. I have mixed feelings about the Europa League; it can give us a platform into CL football through a trophy, but it can also divert our resources from achieving the Top 4 (Tottenham has persistently suffered from this). It would not be the end of the world if we gave it a miss. Relegation seems to be a distant possibility now (thank god).
January 25, 201610 yr Same thing Ive wanted from the beginning, 2 youngsters starting by the end of the season. But seeing how thats unlikely now, I think the FA Cup and a CL Final would be a nice way to end the season.
January 25, 201610 yr think fa cup win is a realistic expectation, judging from the sc**thrope team selection guus is going all in on the FA cup since this is his last year managing and surely he wants to go out on top, don't think we're going to get past psg though honestly, and top 9 league
January 25, 201610 yr If we can't get in the top four I hope we miss out on a Europa League place. We'd have to travel far and wide for a competition that the players probably don't even want to be in and we'd have loads of games being played on Sundays. A good run in the FA Cup would be great. If we can squeeze past PSG in the Champions League then I'll be happy, it's going to be really tough in that competition after that point. Basically I just want us to salvage some pride and set ourselves up to come back roaring next season.
January 25, 201610 yr I would like to see significant game time given to RLC, Kenedy and Baba so no less than 500 minutes. I'd also like to see Traore given a chance or 2 say minimum 200 minutes likewise if Bamford stays at the club he needs to have some minutes under his belt, I also would like to see the odd sub appearance for a couple of youngsters like Aina, Musonda and Solanke, towards the end of the season if there really isn't anything left to push for.Obviously the cups are a bit of a lottery but a good run in either the FA cup and the CL would be great especially as if we were to become victorious we would be guaranteed European football which I think needs to be an aim for next season, even if it is Europa league (people will talk about Europa league syndrome but to me it is a great opportunity to play some youngsters which Tottenham has used brilliantly to their advantage of late) and I do think we can push for a Europa League spot in the league we are only 9 points off United but we are currently in better form and should be able to chase them down. I also don't think 4th is impossible but it definitely isn't a realistic target but we just need to keep picking up some wins and points and we will climb up that league table and we will see where that can take us.Top 6 in the league with a cup semi final or final to look forward too with some of are younger players getting game time I'd consider a successful second half of the season. Very content with a mid-table finish and a cup run as long as youth get played though. Edited January 25, 201610 yr by PedroMendez
January 25, 201610 yr though top4 mathematically is still possible, it's too much to ask currently 14 points behind 4th with 15 games to go. i would like us to win the FA CUP and finish as high as we can in the league
January 25, 201610 yr All the while the maths says we can....FA cup would be nice yes. I think we will win (maybe draw one) the next four, then it's PSG and Southampton away, that will be the litmus test. Come on you Blues! (I'm a little off colour this morning.)
January 25, 201610 yr We're two wins behind seventh place astonishingly so I'll be more than happy if we finish somewhere around there at the end of the season. Obviously an FA Cup and Champions League run would be good too, and I won't mind if we compete in the Europa Leagie next year, it's still better then than no Europe at all.
January 25, 201610 yr Beat the big teams/rivals and finish top 7. FA cup would be a massive bonus, champions league would be a miracle!
January 25, 201610 yr I would like to get into the top 6 because we don't know how we'll do next season in the league and so being in the europa gives us the chance to qualify for cl if we win it. With the way things are going we may not be able to bring all these good players like everyone thinks so our league form could struggle as a consequence of that.
January 25, 201610 yr I would love to beat Liverpool after them turning us over earlier in the season. F.A. cup and top half finish would be nice, as others have said not sure being in the Europa would do us many favours next year, especially as we'll be bedding in a new manager, whoever we get will need his wits about him to cope with the premier league, and the never ending circus that goes along with Chelsea.
January 25, 201610 yr I hope the team don't give up on a top 4 place just yet. Teams have come back from 9 points behind in January to win the title, 14 going to be tough but never say never I say.
January 25, 201610 yr we are 9 (i think) points behind utd so the chance of 4th place isn't over yet. it's highly unlikely we'll make 4th, but we cannot have the mentality that we won't be able to make it and give up pushing to do so.
January 25, 201610 yr As long as it's mathematically possible, I want top 4 and I hope that's what the team are gunning for as well until it's over! After that I'd take top 6 and a couple of cup runs with a possible win and I'd say it had been a really good season considering the start we had!
January 25, 201610 yr To win the FA Cup. To get past PSG Get into the top 6 at least. For Arsenal to finish as runners up or worse. That'll do me until the summer when my ridiculous expectations will be back in full flow!
January 25, 201610 yr I really don't get the talk about making top four. That would mean we fashion some kind of miracle. I hope we make top 10 and give all in Fa Cup and the CL.
January 25, 201610 yr to keep improving and pushing up the table, rebuild fortress stamford bridge, two decent cup runs and arsenal to miss out on the title by one point. that will do nicely
