January 4, 20188 yr Poor Michy. Your own fans call you trash (when your not even playing) Your own manager doesn't rate you. But for some unknown reason, we decided to keep you and not replace you. And to rub salt in the wound, put you on the bench every game to watch a master marksman at work.
January 6, 20188 yr And that's why he doesn't play often, embarrassingly bad tonight. I bet his next tweet will be lit though.
January 6, 20188 yr Poor, but Morata did nothing when he was on either, because neither of them were getting much service.
January 6, 20188 yr That's the last straw for me and I'd imagine for Conte, he did absolutely nothing to show why he should be at this football club.
January 6, 20188 yr Sorry Michy, the service was very poor today but what you did the entire time didn't help matters. Would probably be better off going back to France now whilst you're still young. Even if Michy comes back being a 40+ goals a season striker with another team, I wouldn't complain at all. Costa wasn't good at holding the ball up either but he made up for it by being a nuisance to defenders and being clinical but Michy needs proper service to function even half as good.

January 6, 20188 yr Scapegoated again. The whole team was crap today. Only Morata was poor Wednesday.

For me that's why Batshuayi is so poor though, to get the best out of him the team needs to be setup tactically to exploit his strengths, but at what cost? Concede more goals? There comes a point where you have to question whether it's worth the risk to the team's performance (today's result a case in point). Aubameyang for example scores goals for fun at Dortmund but they've arguably regressed over the last few years - if we persist with Batshuayi we could find ourselves in the same boat. At least with Morata we seem to have a fine balance that benefits Morata and the team. Edited January 6, 20188 yr by the special one
January 6, 20188 yr He's not gonna make it here, we better sell him as soon as possible as we'll still recoup most of the money we spent on him, I'd imagine £25-30m from a punter. Seriously I'd rather have Andy Carroll.

He might not be getting service which is one thing but if you’re not getting service, and you’re a fringe player. IMO, the least you can do is work your bollox off for the team, come deep to get the ball, try and get involved, even be a bit like Costa and ruffle a few feathers. If Michy isn’t getting service, I’m afraid he’s anonymous and you just can’t get away with that being the case at top clubs.

I'm not getting any service what shall I do? Ah, I'll just drift about aimlessly in the final third for 90 minutes hoping the ball heads my way. FFS man - head deeper, go grab the ball and try to do something positive with it. It's not that difficult is it. He's either a dope, bone idle or possibly both. On the upside he's really good at tweeting which, along with a heavily tattooed body and a daft hairstyle is what it's all about these days for many of these players.
January 7, 20188 yr If you play him you need players who will make chances for him around or inside the 18 yard box. He is not morata playing the ball to him like he is morata won't work though will still result in the same 0 goals scored.
January 7, 20188 yr Calling him terrible would be flattering. He's like a shadow on the pitch unless the ball lands at his feet or on his head inside the box.
January 7, 20188 yr At least he'd get a chance to redeem himself soon in the league up or the return leg against Norwich. Like many said, this system doesn't suit him, and we don't really adjust our style of play when he's playing instead of Morata. The only game we got it right was that cameo against Watford ( by luck or design), where we just whip the balls in from the wings and he was the fox in the box. The Chelsea not scoring syndrome has been going on for about 6 months now, it's far more than Morata missing sitters or Batshuayi incompetent. I saw it somewhere we scored 0 goals on fast counter attack this season, f* 0. We tend to play slow when the counter is on, and force the killer pass when we are trying to break teams down.

He doesn't make the right movement's and just gets in everyone's way, he's basically Torres with a respectable goal record.
January 8, 20188 yr He jank. Always gets a chance against lesser opposition and looks like he's more suited for playing for the other team.
January 8, 20188 yr I think at this point the best thing for everyone is to get him a PL loan for the rest of the season. Let him try and get his confidence back in a team where there is less pressure and more opportunities. If he fails, we can ditch him in the summer, if he exceeds expectations, he can come back with renewed confidence and perhaps force his way into the plans of whoever is in charge next season.
January 9, 20188 yr The dailywail have Sevilla being interested in a loan, with the caveat we get cover suggesting Andy Caroll or long term target Benteke. I could see him going to Sevilla though not so sure about the replacements. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-5250481/Chelseas-Michy-Batshuayi-closes-January-loan-exit.html
