We'd be right up there with City if we had those two available for the season.

The reason why we were so dominant in midfield yesterday. Kante's stats along with Kovacic were insane. Rare a midfield two dominates a three in the way this pair did.

Unreal stats Charierre, (I do hope they are not from Whoscored.com), but as a couple of others have said we only really looked solid when Jorginho came on.

It's one of the rare matches where I have seen Kante being tired. Even so he really pushed till the end. Now he's a world champion for both club and country, the legend keep growing.

Kante is fouling more and his passes are going astray at times.

He is still good driving forward and closing down yet a level below previous seasons. 

I think he will be with us next season though not sure about the next.

Kante is still a phenomenal player. I actually think he's a better player now than when he first joined - he's got even better on the ball! The 2-2 draw with Liverpool this season was the best midfield partnership display I've seen in a long time when he paired up with Kovacic.

I am not big fan of kova + kante, both prefer to get the ball and run forward rather than sitting and making tons of passes. In perfect word you play jorgi behind them but it is a nightmare against transition
