Did occur to me that he might get wrapped into a package for Declan Rice ... West Ham were supposedly very interested in signing Sarr ... so maybe we offer them a bit of cash, a couple of players outright and a loan for Sarr ... ?

Hopefully he will get a chance in pre-season to stake a claim to be part of our squad though ... assuming he does actually sign. With an ability to play CB or left back, he sounds like the left footed centre back that we don't have  🙂

Honestly, we should be looking to get rid of Christensen and Rudiger at this point.

IMO if you’re an academy player and your morale drops from other players arriving then you don’t have the mental toughness to compete at the top level. I expect frank to still give youth a chance and those that are good won’t drop their game because of new arrivals

why will u get rid of Rudiger. Hello, are u not disrespecting this guy? Imagine partnership of SILVA AND ZOUMA against Bayern Munich in the champions league next season, or partnership of SILVA AND RUDIGER in the champions league next season, who do u go for?

To me this looks like a very clever signing, i hope we're planning on using him and not shipping him straight out. A left footed CB that can play out from the back and cover out wide when needed. If we're already selling Emerson i see no reason why Alonso can't go too. Much like City now have with Ake, Sarr would give us cover at CB and LB. Made even better by the fact he's completely free.

Will head out on loan. This was a no-brainer for Chelsea. If he develops at all, he should be an 8 figure asset. Brilliant business, and thank you Malang Sarr for agreeing.

I hope he becomes world class one day, exciting prospect. I wonder where he will go on loan, Germany?

Could be a very good signing in a couple of years. I can't find to which club he will be loaned, does anybody know? Hopefully a bit more substantial than Vitesse
