September 9, 20178 yr Good three points. Got a little out of sorts down the stretch. Should have had a penalty in the 82'. Easy easy call for the ref, but yet he missed it. Did enough for the win. Not spectacular. Pedro was poor today, perhaps it was the formation and XI. We looked much better with Willian and Hazard with possession. Several poor passes late and poor decisions where we missed some open players in the box. Take the 3 points and keep moving. An away win in September in the PL!! Come on you Chelsea!!
September 9, 20178 yr Today we played like when you try and teach a younger relative how to play FIFA so you purposefully mess up chances and passes to see if they can score from it because it wouldn't be fair if you played at full capacity.
September 9, 20178 yr Players are visibly knackered in the final 15-20 minutes - hence poor decision making and passing, we are 4 games into the season, but the physical form of our team is inadequate.

Refs are quick to give fouls against us, but they seem to miss every single hand ball made against us, and it's been a lot. We paid the ultimate price at the end of last season with sh*t hand balls being missed by the refs and nothing has changed this season. Edited September 9, 20178 yr by Scott Harris
September 9, 20178 yr The amount of clear cut chances we waste due to absolutely ridiculous decision making is astounding, really should have won that by more seeing as the only real proper chance they had was their penalty. Never really was too convinced they would score the second though which shows that we're defending well. Was impressed by Bakayoko who is still getting to grips with fitness and this league, Kante tackled well and worked hard but his passing was questionable. Hazard's return shows us just how he important he is as Pedro had a serious off day and Willian was his usual self in that he takes far too long to make a pass. Anyway, three big points ahead of our return to European football.
September 9, 20178 yr Didn't manage to catch the game but always positive to start a busy fixture list with 3 points. Hopefully be able to rest a few against Qarabag (i'm assuming, though I know next to nothing about them) and bring the rain when we play Arsenal. I wasn't impressed when I saw Leicester against Man U but they can be a tricky customer.
September 9, 20178 yr I think refs are doing their best to try f**k us over by letting oppo play with their hands and arms ... still won hahahaha

The forwards just came back from international duty bar Fabregas. Each of them also played significant minutes and travel must have drained them slightly
September 9, 20178 yr I think people are being a bit over critical. 1st game back after the break is always tricky, the pitch got an absolute soaking, and we had 5 new signings plus an unfit hazard out for the last 15 mins. Despite how disjointed it was, we looked the most likely to score. Early days for this squad, it will be Xmas before everyone is completely settled, so it's important to pick up 3 points when we aren't playing well.
September 9, 20178 yr Good first half, not that good second. Kante made a goal but otherwise he made a lot of mistakes. Dave had a superb pass to Morata's goal, but he made a mistake on the other end which lead to the penalty. I think that Zappacosta will replace Moses after some more time to adapt into Chelsea football. Willian to my opinion doesn't bring that much to the team. But the main point: three points.
September 9, 20178 yr Here's a tip for those that are looking for streams in the future. Go on Reddit, search Soccer Streams and then pick whatever game you are looking to watch. They usually have 4 or 5 decent streams every game. One may die every so often ( nothing unusual for streams ) but you usually get a steady enough stream throughout.

September 9, 20178 yr I just think if it wasn't for that penalty we'd be looking at a nice 2-0 away win not a dodgy 2-1 win.
September 9, 20178 yr You shouldn't be able to miss handballs that obvious especially after giving the other team a pen and already denying us one. This ref immunity is bollox and only exists because the FA are happy for games to be manipulated to make this cash cow league more competitive, call it conspiracy but it's a stone cold fact. Refs tried to throw the Spuds back into the race last season, and did. Why do you think the heavy fines for "bringing the game into disrepute" because it's f**king obvious what they are doing but they make sure the managers don't dare say it so plausible deniability is there.

September 9, 20178 yr this is the problem with having internationals in the season, the team hasn't worked together for 2 weeks and then coming back to the fray, it's going to be a little tricky especially away from home at leicester. i am not going to be too harsh, but we should have finished them off faster than we did.

September 9, 20178 yr Anybody else feel Morata seems so poor with his feet? Easy victory though. Edited September 9, 20178 yr by no_instance10
September 9, 20178 yr 1-2 flattered them, we were the best team by some distance, but a combination of messing about around their box and quite frankly one of the most blatant pens denied to us, meant we were twitching at the end. 3 points though. Nice.
September 9, 20178 yr So what is everyone's opinion of Morata? I feel he is improving his hold up play / dribbling against PL competition and he is certainly fabulous on crosses into the six-yard box. He seems to prefer ones from the right wing (from Dave) as opposed to crosses from the other side. Or our crosses from the other side are just ass (from Rudiger and Alonso). If he does prefer crosses from the right, Zappacosta over Moses will double up ones from that side. I have been please, 3 goals and 2 assists through 4 games. 18+ PL goals would be a solid year and replaces Costa's production without the drama. Come on you Chelsea!!
