They're gonna be champions, aren't they..

Even when they are not at their best, everything goes their way.

It will need a total collapse of their part, for somebody to have a sniff at them.

Damn you city, not a great performance but three points. Can only keep winning our games and hope city drop points...somewhere...somehow...please....

We'll be lucky if they lose a single game. They've had good starts before and trailed off, but it seems different this season. I think we won 30 games last season, which was crazy. I can see them beating that record.

The refs make it up depending on the situation. If the home team is losing by a goal or are drawing and pushing for a win, they add on 4, 5 or 6 minutes. If the home team is ahead, it will be 2 or 3. It's been happening in football for as long as i have been watching. It just proves to me that refs aren't mentally strong enough and buckle under pressure.

Damn you Sterling ! Yet again, the amount of luck they're getting is beyond me . Could have been 9 points behind, gosh . Anyways hope when they meet utd at traffrod they can take some points off .

well guys, there's a sliver lining to that... we can now fully concetrate on the Champions League :good2:! à la 2012 ! and I bet you we'll beat them in the champions league!! how sweet would it be !

as for the PL : it's fricking november! we've won tonight and city will lose their momentum against manure and spuds! you'll see!

Lackluster and insipid performance. If it was not for Kante's incredible performance (which we take for granted now), the midfield would have belonged to Swansea, and I doubt we would get any points.

When a number of players clearly can't be bothered to put an effort into the play, they should have enough decency to declare themselves unfit prior to the game.

Our performance was far away from being very good, but we still did the job, it's not easy to play when you have your coach off and when the game doesn't go in your way. Swansea were good defensively, Fabianski saved 2 very good attempts from Morata. Newcastle, we're coming!

COME ON CHELS!

I try not to criticize the ref. It thought tonight’s performance was fairly poor, but it didn’t really impact the outcome.

What  was re9nforced to me is that outside of Morata and hazard we don’t have any classy attackers. Pedro is no more than a sub at this level and Willian a utility player. Said it befor and I’ll say it again if we don’t add more quality hazard will definitely leave.

And yes moses looked off the pace. Not as much as Sanches though.

Been at the game tonight, one of those games that you will forget quickly but we still got the three points. Needed to move the ball quicker in possession as they sat back to spoil game. Still made enough chances to win convincingly but just seemed off the pace. More seats empty than the att given, few season ticket holders must of give it a miss. Me and a mate had a pair go unused, mentioned earlier hope we don’t end up with 20,000 empty seats when we go to 60,000. Place was dead tonight, got better when we attacked second half. Just looked through the match thread, looked as good as the game!!! Lots of streams but none any good!

Well the match thread excelled itself tonight #mentallists

And I thought we had more than enough brain dead supporters in the mid 70's to the 80's. Swansea are  well drilled and coached by a great coach, who kept to their game plan.

Why no mention of Willian who had a very good game......I guess not the flavor of the month. 'None so blind as those who will not see'

Missed the game but it’s a good win. We need to be able to grind out wins when the ball just won’t seem to go in. I seen the highlights and it could have been 4 or 5.

If I’d been watching live I’d probably have been a lot more stressed, but all in all a good night and for the most part Eden got a well needed rest!

Alvaro, shut the hell up, man! Stop acting like a crybaby, stop diving, stop pretending and shouting at the refs. He could've closed this match many times but that behaviour distracts him a lot. Costa was also a diver and provoker but he used it to get advantage while in Morata's case he is the one that suffers.

It was a good performance. I already spoke about about Alvaro, in a normal day the result would be 4-0. Same thing for Pedro. Missed a lot of chances that he usually scores. It was good performance after all, taking 3 points and letting rest the most important players in the squad.

Guys focus on Chelsea, not City.

1) Great reactions from Rudiger, that was not an easy goal by any means, thank you for being clinical on the night!

2) Morata really needs to stop complaining and get to grips with this league, one nudge from Mawson and he completely snuffed his shot and started complaining. He needs to learn that's the way the PL is, Drogba would have taken a big touch with his right and carried it onto his left side so the defender couldn't distract him from the shot, it would have created a harder angle and put it on his left, but it gives you a better chance. Morata needs to learn the same techniques or he's going to really struggle in a lot of Premier League games here, like this one. (if you watch the very moment you'll see Morata acts like it's a simple 1 on 1 no defender around him)

3) Alonso uses his width so much better than Zappacosta, Zappacosta didn't make enough good runs to really stretch Swansea thin, Alonso made a few good darting runs that almost completely obliterated their organisation.

4) We are too harsh on Willian & Pedro, they ran the game, should have scored more but Swansea did nothing all game, the show was run by them and Fabregas with Morata linking up well, the bottom sides are very easy for us when we play like this it's no contest, we just had to get the goal in and we almost failed. Not a huge deal even City & United are struggling in those departments at the moment.

5) I wasn't happy with the lineup, to be honest, I'm sure many thought the same when they saw no Moses and Fabregas starting in midfield, but it looks like it was never an issue and maybe for the best? Fabregas was in total control, looks like we can start with Fabregas on the side next to Kante in certain games, but I would rather not make a habit of it.
