July 28, 20187 yr The boy has no fear from senior players, we don't need Bernard,Martial,Baily just play this kid!
July 28, 20187 yr Absolutely no need for a new winger if this lad can keep at this level. Stunning performances (just about like every time I watch him)
July 29, 20187 yr Hopefully sarri has the guts to keep him and use him. Yes of Eden stays he starts as long as fit but he is the only nailed on forward starter.
July 29, 20187 yr How is he on the right? Unless Eden is moved more centrally or having his worst season ever that’s his only realistic option of nailing down a first team spot and getting more minutes.
July 29, 20187 yr Apparently Sarri said he doesn't know if CHO or Ampadu will play next season. I'd love them both, CHO especially, to really get a chance, but I have a feeling it's going to be the same old story.
July 29, 20187 yr what does a youngster have to do to get a place in the team?! For real, do we wait for a better version of Messi/Ronaldo at his peak...
July 29, 20187 yr Hazard to play centrally as the attacking midfielder with Kante and Jorginho behind him ? That would leave the left flank free for CHO. For me, you have to have all your best players on the pitch ... the ones that can hurt the opposition with extreme pace or skill. Granted early days for CHO, but damn the signs look really encouraging ...

I think he said he doesn't know about them playing in the PL, which might just mean they get games in the smaller cup games and in the Europa League. I think it's just as, if not more beneficial to keep these youngsters in the first team squad and give them cameo roles as much as sending them on a pointless loan. It is probably just as much Sarri's choice to keep them as the board, and their futures will be decided in the next couple weeks. Ampadu won't be a starter in the Prem, and neither will Hudson-Odoi, but they are useful options to have, and the experience to be training and surrounded by the first team squad will be beneficial for them. John Terry learned from Desailly at Ampadu's age, and Hudson-Odoi has Pedro/Willian and Hazard to learn from. Edited July 29, 20187 yr by enigma
July 29, 20187 yr This kid has much potential, his close ball control looked very similar to Hazard's when he plays out on that side. If he doesn't get a chance next season it would be hugely disappointing, he needs to be played and not shipped out to some random club where he will fade away. Age is irrelevant if you already have the tools to succeed.

I said same, certainly possible in some games where we need to be more offensive, my worry is have we got the center forward to play in front of them ?
July 29, 20187 yr He and Ampadu are very good prospects, but it's important to remember they are both still 17. I think a few starts in the early rounds of the cups and Europa is fine next season. I don't think we should be relying too heavy on them this season. The premier league is a tough competition, and we've seen players that have played regularly at 17/18 really struggle in their late 20's and early 30's.

July 29, 20187 yr Rooney burnt out because he didn't look after himself Owen burnt out because of persistent injuries. Plenty of players who played first team football from a young age have gone on to play into their 30's especially these days

Milner seems to have done alright but he's spent large parts of his career either not involved in Europe, or not playing regularly. I think it is 12 months too early to be thinking about CHO starting regularly for us.

Ronaldo is a freak of nature, he was a year older when he came to United though aswell.
