Kante twice the player of Baka

Twice? Think you’re doing Kante an injustice there.

What a tackle from kante. Fabregas should do better. Drinkwater needs to come on, bakayoko is treading water out there.

Treading water? If he was swimming he’d have drowned 40 minutes ago.

i really hope he comes good because right now we look proper stupid.

Don’t see the first half being as bad as it reads on the forum. We’ve had as many clear chances as them and certainly the easier chances. We’re away to Arsenal so it’s never going to be easy.

Confident we’ll get a winner second half.

I think Baka has done well save his chance which was the most difficult of the three and he at least hit the target.

L’Arse may well tire later.

Bakayoko i agree with, but not Fabregas. Fabregas has played some very good passes.

I feel you but he is on a yellow and i meant it for tacticAL REASONS. A midfield 2 of Kante and Drinkwater and a front 3 of willian hazard and Morata, better we take the initiative rather than react when they score first

I don't think Fabregas was expecting the ball from Hazard at the end there.

Weird old game. We've been poor enough and have given chances to Arsenal but at the same time should have at least 1 goal ourselves.

Bakayoko needs to come off. Kante can't do the work of 2 men. Bakayoko will (hopefully) come good in the future, but for now Drinkwater should be starting, and has to come on sooner rather than later.

Second game running Moses is mostly beaten by his man, not to the extent I'd hook him though.

Baka has made some attacking runs but not really great in winning the ball in midfield.

When we have the chance to counter the only players busting to get forward are Morata & Hazard, the rest just seem to trot up when they feel like it. Also we started closing high up the pitch and we had the better of them which seems to have tailed off.

Good one :laugh2:

Some terrible misses that half.

Bakayoko gives us absolutely nothing. Terrible attacking and he puts no pressure on players when defending (he's not even good as a barrier as he positions himself in the middle of nowhere, not blocking runs or the ball). When Fabregas delivered an amazing ball and he got nowhere near it...

He's been really poor. Positionally, Bakayoko is all over the place, he's also not tracking Arsenal players well. He's spinning around in circles a lot because he doesn't know where the ball is or where should be, you can see Kante covering for him over and over again.
