Alvaro Morata

Featured Replies

It’s probably too harsh to call him a crap striker, but he’s definitely not suited to us. I imagine he’d do really well for Liverpool, Juventus or even any of the Spanish teams.

Wrong striker for the club, wrong club for Morata. Shame as there is a quality player in him.

Get whatever we can for him, then use a little bit extra of cash on top of the fee to sign a world class striker.

He has to be given the chance to prove himself next season, imo. We all know how many players have taken time to settle in not only the PL but England itself. Also we do not know what style we will be playing or who will be the manager

Bene disappointing, yes, but we shouldn#t give up so quickly, give him one more season and see if he improves.

With the way we seem to have tightened the purse strings that may not be the best idea. Selling him now we could recoup a good sum of money for him. If we keep him and he ends up just as poor as this season then we are unlikely to recoup the money.

We probably have no option but to give him another season ,with what's available out there, and what we are willing to pay,it's probably the best answer

plenty of other top talent out there, sell this italian clown and use the fund to buy a proper striker like harry kane or charlie austin

want a real striker instead of this clown send him back to italy along with the other italians ruining this club

"Italians ruining this club"

One of our greatest ever players was Italian and it was under a Italian manager we won the biggest trophy in club football

Italians have contributed massively to Chelsea over the years. Vialli, Cudicini, Di Matteo, Ancelotti, Conte and Zola

Should have played better.

Would love to see him under a different manager, Conte seemed to prefer a bruised up front which he will never be.

Looks like he'll be missing the World Cup

He can always represent Spain in the Olympic gymnastics team in Japan 2020, the floor event was made for him.

To be fair he had a long lay off for some mysterious back injury. Never did it seem to me he looked up for it, a huffy weakling more like.

Strange that Conte wanted a different type of striker yet still signed him for 2 different teams.
