May 9, 20188 yr I've even got to the stage with this clown manager that when i type his name into text messages and the old predictive text kicks in, i don't even bother correcting it back any more!!
May 9, 20188 yr i don't enjoy harping on about him, but i believe barkley would have been so useful for that second half. would have been perfect to pick up those balls outside the area and have a go.

They pass it around themselves and with keep until fabregas comes back into our own half to get it and start the play. We certainly rely on individual brilliance in the final third. Fabregas was superb in the second half directing traffic, but the moment they stopped the out ball to Dave we were cooked. Again shows that we lack someone who can sniff and create a goal in the moment. Diego sorely missed this year, but he wanted to leave so not much to be done.

Why do you think no juve player followed him into Chelsea? Probably he benched giroud tonight for celebrating with Luiz last weekend. I wouldn’t rule out.

May 9, 20188 yr Why the hell would you change a starting 11 that was on a winning streak? Conte you idiot.

May 9, 20188 yr The only clowns we have at the club are in the boardroom. A succession of managers who have won trophies and then asked the board to back them in the summer transfer market only to have their requests, without exception, discarded. As a result, some have left, others were sacked. The worst thing you can do as a Chelsea manager is win something, you do that and the board expect you to do it again with the same squad the following season. Here's a list of managers we've had since 2004. Some great names in there ( with the exception of AVB) who were not backed by our illustrious board after they had put some serious silverware in the cabinet. And look at the timescale some of them were given? May 10, 20188 yr Well, I am little late to post, but real disappointment tonight. What was up with the XI? Really disappointed with Giroud not starting. Oddly, with Spurs win and us picking up one point, still have the same scenario pretty much. Have to win at Newcastle and have Liverpool lose. Spurs draw or win Sunday, we would not have been able to over take them anyway. Our result removes a "draw for Liverpool and our win Sunday" scenario. Very simple, must win and LFC must lose, not likely. Come on you Chelsea!!
May 10, 20188 yr Goodbye Conte. Great first season followed by an utter shambles of a second season. From the sublime to the ridiculous in just three days. Story of our season in a nutshell. Don’t tamper with a winning side with two games to go and a CL spot on the line. Pretty fuc**ng simple stuff. Nagging feeling is that if Conte wasn’t going he wouldn’t dare have put out that side. Abramovich should have sacked him months ago.
May 10, 20188 yr Ahh you know what never mind our many shortcomings this season just simple well done to huddersfield really top achievement staying up with their limited resources when mainstays like stoke and Swansea are heading down. Wagner set them out to do their job And they fought hard for it. Well done to them. You get what you deserve in the league. They deserve to stay up and we deserve to miss out on the top four.
May 10, 20188 yr Oh Well................ To be honest, after the Spurs & West Ham results, top 4 always looked beyond us, then recent results brought some hope. But fair play to Huddersfield. They got a bit of luck but for the effort they put in, they deserved it. We just need to go on and lift the FA Cup now as I would still rather win than than finish 4th.
May 10, 20188 yr On a certain level, I am happy for Mooy that Huddersfield have stayed up in the face of long odds from the outset. On another, wider level, I'm bemused with Conte changing the side in a situation where we really had to play our best XI, against a side that was fighting tooth-and-nail for PL survival. If we miss out on Top 4, it would probably be warranted in light of some of the shambolic performances we have put up this season (alongside indifferent finishing).
May 10, 20188 yr Can't see why Conte can't be fired today...I don't think the players would shed any tears and certainly the fans wouldn't...just found it strange that t half-time there's Jody Morris and his youth team proudly displaying the 4 trophies they've won this year and none of that team can get a sniff with Conte...we stand a better chance of winning the FA Cup without Conte than with him...

Half those guys were in on an interim basis. The only ones who can feel hard done by are Jose first time round and probably Carlo. The rest lost the plot big time, except AVB and Scolari who never had the plot to begin with.
