Oliver Giroud is an exact carbon copy of Didier Drogba except for touch, goal scoring and heading. 

Neatly coufirred hair and the ability to regularly miss-control a 5 yard wall pass does not mean he should be paid £30k a week and be allowed to wear a Chelsea shirt.

I know some  Arsenal fans. A few personally. And they are laughing their tits off that he gets to play for us.

I don’t know any Arsenal fans personally, and I am happy about that.  Miscontrolled not miss-controlled (Moi would be proud of me)

Good move taking him off Arsenal and send Michy on loan to Dortmund so Arsenal could sign a top class striker who is now the top scorer in the league this season.

Did a pretty decent job for us last season. Looks past it at the moment though.

He was never meant to be the solution to our problems upfront. As a backup, he looked solid when he arrived, but this season he's clearly regressed.

Still, if Morata proved what we all hoped he'd be, we probably wouldn't be discussing the limitations of Olivier Giroud right now. I doubt Spurs support have sleepless nights about how average Llorente is, and we all know why.

Imagine we not only signed their 4th choice striker, but also loaned out Batshuayi so that Dortmund were willing to sell Auba. In that Merry go round, we were the only losers.

Yes, crazy wheel and deal of ridiculous timing, all I could think of is we can't afford Auba, and Conte prefer a big target man instead of Btshuayi. I remember that game after all the deals have done, we are the one club without a striker.

Sometimes the deal is done yet we are awaiting the right time to reveal to the market, not saying that is the case coz can't believe we would let both go without strengthening with at least one purchase ..............

i can not help thinking that if callum wilson is that good, how comes at 26 no one else has snapped him up already? 

I really hope that we don't sign Wilson, I'd much rather save the money and play Tammy. £50 million!? You've got to be kidding me.

Olie is too clumsy comparing to Drogba, as he simply can't be compared to one of the greatest strikers in the Premier League.

Ridiculous comparing him to Drogba.

Someone else compared Giroud to Callum Wilson on another thread. Wilson and Drogba are legends compared to Giroud. Giroud is as forgettable as Pato and Kalou.

Brings more to the team than Higuain in my opinion, would like to see him play more games in the PL.

So far he has seemed to be a ghost this season, but after the season he could look to be our most instrumental player for the Europa League, top scorer in the tournament I believe? 

A bit like Torres in 2013, did nothing in the league but couldn't stop scoring goals in the Europa League. 

Shame Arsenal didn't get knocked out, otherwise, this could have been a much easier Cup to win, because at the moment top 4 for me just isn't on the cards, we can't stop dropping stupid points.

Sometimes a manger stumbles upon a winning combination by mistake, hopefully that might have happened tonight with our line up. I for one won't complain if he make changes based on what he saw worked tonight against Everton.
