Boehly +on paper looks like a real good owner -on paper looks like a real good owner

Boehly has another big negative, he's attached with Goldstein, a massive Spuds fan.

I don't see what difference that would make, the government couldn't give a toss whether the stadium is empty or not.

And why would should I stop watching OUR team home  (season tickets already paid for) and away to make a point.

Out team needs our support

It's a completely fair point. It's also why we shouldn't mock United, Arsenal and Newcastle fans for still attending games when they could have boycotted. We will be exactly the same.

The government has said they will not sell home tickets to non season ticket holders because the ground will already have fans in. That is why the women's team is going to be able to sell tickets.

It's as clear a message as I can see for our season ticket holders to mobilize and protest. But they won't. Because fair enough, they've spent a lot of money and the chance of success is low. But it's also why no matter how had our future owners are, the ground will still be full.

This logic:

no to rickets because old 80 yr old wrote something negative about islam in what he thought was a private email

And in the same sentence they write they would prefer Saudi Media. who’s religion very clearly states- and also their country- very clearly isn’t a big fan of diversity in any sense of the word. So They crucify rickets based on what he thinks and expresses in an email not even for an action he has done which isn’t inclusive and meanwhile we are suppose to somehow find this 80 yr old more offensive than Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦 ?????

This is a retarded double standard

I would say no to rickets because of sporting reasons and also yes to saudi media because of sporting reasons

I'm just sick and tired of the whole thing and want it over with, whatever the decision, so we can get back to just trying to enjoy the football.

Just keep this team together that we have now, extend the key players and TT, keep the academy operating on the same level

I could even live with not spending 100+ million every transfer window. Maybe sell Werner and Lukaku replace them with Broja and then just get 1 good player in for the money you get from selling players

We weren't doing this now anyway until the last 2 summer windows. We had so many summer and winter windows that we spent little (or nothing).

According to Sky news

Raine has asked bidders for Chelsea to provide binding commitments surrounding future spending on the club and its Stamford Bridge home, Sky News understands.

"Bankers handling the sale of Chelsea FC are seeking binding commitments from bidders about future spending on the club and its stadium before deciding on a shortlist of contenders to succeed Roman Abramovich as its next owner.

Sky News has learnt that Raine Group has sought assurances in the last 24 hours about prospective buyers' funding of the Stamford Bridge beyond the price they are prepared to pay to acquire Chelsea's share capital.

City sources said that multiple consortia had been asked to clarify details of their offers as Raine narrows the field of bidders to fewer than a handful this week.

They want guarantees about future capital funding for the club and stadium, and cash on the balance sheet, so that they can be certain they are picking the best future owner of Chelsea," said one insider"

Any wonder why racism continues to be an issue in UK when the UK leaders are racist?

Your'e Canadian right ?

Your country has also sanctioned Abramovich.

If Chelsea was a Canadian entity, Trudeau would have shut us down completely.

Is your PM racist  ?

This whole thing is ridiculous. Should be quite simple surely... Chelsea sell tickets, merchandise etc. and it goes to a bank account not controlled by Roman, these funds go towards paying wages etc. Any debt, or money in said bank just goes to the new owners. Or am I missing something here?

What's the point in having a governing body in the FA and Premier League if they can't manage the club in the interim until the ownership is sorted, all proceeds from ticket sales, merchandise etc go to one of these bodies and they pay the wages of the players and deal with the finances and expenditure until a new owner comes in. We are a member of the FA and Premier League and they should be doing all they can to help in the current situation.

calm down and watch some Thiago silva

Soothing. Feel a lot better now, thank you.

Someone who know how to do that should drop everything and make a 'Keep calm and watch/trust Thiago Silva' signs (in blue obviously).

English mate, living in Canada. Alberta to be precise. This Provence hates Justin for his, and his parties, position on the energy industry.

Regarding him and racism though his use of "blackface" has been an issue for him for a while:

No, but the parasite owners losing out on an obscene amount of cash will.

Voting with your wallet is the only way fans will ever make themselves heard.

Hopefully it won't come to that but if our next owners are Glazer/Kreonke/Ashley types I will not be giving them a penny.

Fair enough. It's going to be a good day when the new owners are announced for more than one reason.

If you're English why did you say your country and not ours or my country unless you're Lennox Lewis 😉

Your government is an absolute joke, ho dare they ask Roman to pump another 30m into the club. Your prime minister is an embarrassment to the nation, god help you when the energy prices shoot up. As an Englishman I am ashamed.
