Today is clear for me. We dominate the first half ok we weren’t good enough in front of goal but what was Sarri’s team talk at half time? I mean no way were Everton going to play that badly in the second half. He’s out of his depth here he has to go now. I’m f****d off with the same tactics the same team the same slow play. Roman sort this now like you have done the other times!!!

Few years back this would be a no brainer really, he would be sacked. But only because there is no big name available it benefits Sarri.

I don't mind who's the manager as long as he doesn't stick to 1 formation and 1 rubbish tactic that he took with him from another league.

I wouldn't mind seeing us with the transfer ban and playing 4-4-2 with Tammy and Michy in front and Kante and RLC in the middle and CHO and Pulisic on the wings, looks more exciting to me on paper than Sarri's tactics.

I've sat on the fence on this one for a while. Today I've moved firmly into the sack at the end of the season.

Is that like the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow?

There’s a pattern with our managers, Jose in his last season was stubborn and kept choosing out form players, Conte the same. Now Sarri, I don’t get it at all, why be stubborn about who your picking? Given how this season has turned out we may aswell have just stuck with Conte.

We'd be fighting off relegation with our midfield duo of Drinkwater and Bakayoko if Conte was still here.

The reason why I am not angry is, because we are winning in the possession stat. Putting the ball in the back of the net is not important. I love Sarri football, because it is boring.

Take a lot of drugs do you mate ?

Swap Bale for Hazard.

Bale and CHO on the wings. Tammy in the middle.

A midfield three of Drinkwater, Kante and RLC.

Christensen and Ampadu at centre back. Reece James at right back and "new signing" Ashley Cole at left back.

Bulka in goal.

RLC as the captain.

Lampard and Jody Morris as the coaching team.

8 home players in the starting XI and 7 academy players ... and I bet they couldn't do any worse than what we are watching right now ...

I am not sure if he is stubborn. More plausible explanation is that he has no clue.

Doubtful but I do know we were looking poor. However we’re looking poor anyway so I don’t think we’d be any worse off.

If it’s that that’s even worse lol

Or if the board let Conte choose 2 players that he wants just like Sarri got his Jorginho and Higuain, our midfield duo would be Kante and Milinkovic-Savic and we would be in top 4...

Am still an “in” but it feels pretty lonely. I think the problems at the club run deeper than Sarri. I also feel like I understand what Sarri is trying to do football-wise, and it CAN be really good. I agree it’s not working a lot of the time and get the frustration at the team selections, etc, but we don’t know the counterfactuals: are the players everyone wants to play more really better or is there a “grass is greener” aspect to this? Would today’s selected team not also have smashed Dinamo Kiev? Take Emerson for example. When he wasn’t getting games we all wanted to him to play instead of Alonso. So he got more games but proved to be no better... The biggest frustration for me is our inability to come back once we go behind. But again- is that Sarrri’s fault and not the players’? He’s shown a lot more flexibility with subs in recent games, to his credit, but today it just didn’t work (nothing did.) To those (ie pretty much everyone now?) that do want him out I would ask these two questions: 1) What credible and realistic (as in they would want to come to Chelsea given the problems at the club, working environment, firing policy) better alternatives are there right now? 2) given the decline in our relative clout (financially and those deeper problems: quality of board, transfer policy, owner-in-exile,  etc) vs the huge strides made by the competition and the premier league in general, which of Man City, Arsenal, Man U, Liverpool and Tottenham should we be realistically be expecting to finish above?

Who do you bring in though if Sarri is sacked?

I just said it in the match chat thread. I have no doubt people will argue it. But I’d happily take Lampard or Morris or Terry. I want someone who will play our hugely talented young players. We cannot compete with city and Liverpool with the transfer ban. Even without that we wouldn’t match their spending and squads which is what it will take. We need someone in charge who will play our youngsters and try and develop our own superstars. I have no doubt we have the quality in our youth setup to create our own class of ‘92. CHO, Ampadu, RLC, Christensen, Mount. Gilmour, James. These are some incredibly talent guys, they just need opportunities. We aren’t winning the league with these seasoned pros anyways so what do we have to lose? We have the most successful youth side in England and we need someone who can tap in to that successfully. We’re not gonna outspend the rest of the league anymore. Those days are over.

Robbie is that you?? It’s Roman, I need another trophy in Europe, when can you get here?

Although if Conte had been given the holding midfielder and striker that he'd asked for maybe he would have taken us on further again.

I have said for some time that it really would not surprise me in the least if Poch ended up being our next manager.

Those better managers had better squads than we now have, although Roman was trigger happy then we are now in a different era looking to comply with FFP. I

Weird thing is we are spending as much money as ever, but our squads are much worse. My theory is that our scouting has gone way downhill in recent times. Kante and Rudiger are literally the only two decent signings we've made since Jose's first season. We've spent hundreds of millions during that time.

Win the Europa League then I vote give him next season, I dont care about the league now.

Otherwise get rid and appoint someone who will play our youth.

Pedro and Willian ahead of CHO is ridiculous, Ampadu barely getting any minutes because sarri cannot figure out where to play him is a farce. RLC not starting when fit is dumb.
