Prem City game we just totally gave up after 1-0 and 2-0. My fear is that if City get an early goal and the team is struggling like they did in the last game , they will drop their heads then start believing they can't beat City and we end up with the biggest cup final defeat in history, which will be a fitting end to the myth that is Sarriball.
February 24, 20197 yr Well no Alonso and the false 9 did work against City at Stamford Bridge so, up the Chels! Here we go!!
February 24, 20197 yr False 9, f**king hell after a decent result midweek albeit not a terrific performance I was hoping we could build on it.
February 24, 20197 yr Alonso not even in the squad maybe just maybe he's starting to see he's a liability
February 24, 20197 yr looks like we're going to try to survive for as long as possible and not much more probably a sensible enough approach but let's face it, if we go behind first it's over

February 24, 20197 yr Hazard false 9, no Reuben, Callum or Higuain, yet the same old out of form players are selected again, a team sent out to hope for a miracle penalty shoot out win, think I'll take the dogs out.
February 24, 20197 yr obviously playing Hazard central so he doesn't have to track back. Willian and Pedro will do the defensive duties. Good to see no Alonso. Only gripe for me is Barkley again. I would have preferred Loftus-Cheek there instead, but understandable not to rush him back from his previous injury. Hudson-Odoi starting in this game was always a bit of a pipe dream considering the opponents and the defensive duties he would have to keep up during the game.

February 24, 20197 yr I hate the sideways tippy tappy sh*t, and i think we will see bags of it today. Crossing is almost redundant Hazard v Laporte/Otamendi.
February 24, 20197 yr It’s going to have to be a repeat of the Home game when we beat them for us to win. City being poor and us taking our chances. Much of it will depend on City’s mentaily and if they’re complacent
