Having James on the pitch is like playing with a cheat code.

Reece James, undroppable, unplayable. 

And lords above, what a shot he has on him, he can really CRACK that ball at 100mph can't he? He hits them so sweetly!

This is what happens when he gets his time and gains experience to play at the high level.

A f**king beast on his position, he has a bright future in front of him and if he continues in this way. We are going to have one of the best RB/RWB's in Europe.

Does anyone have a compilation of opposition players falling off Reece James?  Last night vs Rabiot, Soyuncu at the weekend. If one doesn't exist, can someone more technically minded than me create one?

I think we are in the process of seeing Reece develop in to a truly unique player. 

Sometimes a player becomes so good he becomes legendary in one particular position, like JT or Maka. 

Then there are others that may start in one position but end up everywhere and doing everything with real quality, like Kante or Inesta. Think James will be in this category. Becoming so good that nomatter where he is on the pitch he will be special.

We really owe Frank a lot of thanks for starting to give the youth the chance, and TT for carrying it on as he has with Chalobah.

Everybody had better be a one-season wonder, or else in about 30-40 years' time the ground will be littered with statues of our academy boys. It will be tricky to navigate around them

Where has Reece James gone? because this player we have been watching in recent weeks is like a shadow of the player we saw vs Juve. He's gone from looking like one of the best players in the league to garbage, today he was at his worst. Has the hype gone to his head or something? He looked totally disinterested today, I wasn't surprised when Tuchel moved him to CB and put Azpilicueta at wing back. Azpilicueta doesn't have the legs anymore, but I saw more effort from him to try and make things happen than I did from James who could barely get out of first gear.

He put james there to combat adama pace.

In the build up when he gets the ball he never has anyone to pass the ball too.

Played more like a winger yesterday than a WB, CHO was slaughtered here when he put on a better defensive performance playing as a WB. Funny thing was he was on Tuchel’s side of the pitch and he didn’t have a word with him, remember him subbing CHO mins after coming on for doing something similar.
James is part of the reason we have been looking fragile defensively because he leaves so much space behind, which gets exploited by the opposition winger. The RCB usually Christensen now takes the flak. If he was prime Bale ignoring his defensive duties I would understand, but he isn’t even close.

Actually played better as a centre back than wing-back. He's been poor lately and I think this should be the move forward until our squad gets healthy.

If we sign Jules Kounde we will no longer need to put James RCB. Kounde is similar to Reece James, both strong as f**k, quick, aggressive and terrific on the ball.

We need to re-sign Livramento ! :-) 

Wasn't at his best yesterday, few overhit passes and crossings and sometimes defensively suspect. 

Hope he recovers his form. It seems everytime someone gets praised in the media, they lose their mojo.
