March 19, 20197 yr I actually can't decide, it changes for me. Sometimes Willian and sometimes its Pedro.
March 19, 20197 yr Agree with Jack...…..They each bring different qualities. What I'd like is a hybrid of them both. The pace, defensive mentality, and work of Pedro with the trickery and ability to curl a shot like Willian.
March 19, 20197 yr Neither... I mean if you really twisted my arm.... I mean really twisted it, to the point you almost broke it... I’d have to maybe go for Pedro, would take CHO over both every day of the week though. Both very inconsistent and at their age, that’s never going to change now. Wrong side of 30 for wingers as well. RW is a position we’ve not upgraded since we signed Pedro. That was 4 years ago, quite scary!
March 19, 20197 yr While Willian has the size and weight advantage, Pedro seems meaner and more scrappy. It'd be a close fight, but I think Pedro taps him in the third with a submission.
March 19, 20197 yr You guys are taking the piss..... no contest Willian has the nicer ass. But if we're picking who should stay next season I think Pedro as he mor eembodies the style we want going forward (I assume even if we get rid of Sarri the club/Roman still want more attacking football) and I think he'd be a better/safer presence in the dressing room. That's my speculation, and that's exactly all it is.
March 19, 20197 yr Pedro scores more goals, but generally prefer Willian. Think he is an overall better player, albeit frustrating.
March 19, 20197 yr Tricky one. Both blow hot and cold. Cant really pick between the two. In terms of who I would prefer to be here next season, it would definitely be pedro, since he would more likely be happy to play a squad role, where as Willian has shown some unprofessionalism when he hasn't played regularly. If it were possible though I'd sell them both, we desperately need something fresh in attack, we have pulisic coming in, CHO coming through, and with hazard looking likely to leave, I think now would be a good time completely revamp the forward line, depending on what happens with the ban.
March 19, 20197 yr Pedro, but only because his end product is better. They are both very frustrating players though. Willian does everything right until he approaches attacking areas. Pedro is either completely crap, or playing a blinder, there is no inbetween with Pedro. The pair of them are poor more often than not these days though. I can only think of a handful of games this season that they have played well in.
March 19, 20197 yr Depends what you are looking for. If we played Willan in the center, I.e him, kante and RLC I would go with him. In terms of where they are played i would pick Pedro as he p*sses me off less than Willian.
March 20, 20197 yr I'm going to say Pedro because he is more of a goal threat and makes better runs, but having said that he's more likely to takes 10 touches and then lose the ball in dangerous areas (home v Leicester springs to mind). Willian is better for dead ball situations but doesn't do nearly enough for an attacking player. They both have around 1 good game in about 7 - that's my frustration with both of them. My worst nightmare scenario is losing Hazard & CHO and keeping Willian and Pedro. Edited March 20, 20197 yr by 2211 mistake
March 20, 20197 yr Pedro. Love those moments where he picks the ball up near the halfway line, runs towards our defence and then across the length of the pitch and then just lays of a sideways 5 yard pass and in all that furious energy we've made progress up the pitch.

So true
March 20, 20197 yr If we lose Hazard, I would play Willian on the left, and CHO on the right, with Pedro and Pulisic on the bench as the impact wingers. So I guess my answer is "Willian" ?
April 9, 20197 yr Credit to both of them last night. Standing ovation for Adoi when he came off...started by Pedro and joined in by Willian. They get a bit of stick but that was class, what we need around the club.
April 9, 20197 yr Nice touch by Pedro last night - encouraging the crowd to applaud CHO as he replaced him. Classy guy.

April 9, 20197 yr I expect us to keep Willian and for Pedro to leave. I expect Hazard to go and this would leave us with three wide players, Willian, CHO and Pulisic.
