Was nice to see them have lots of pointless midfield possesion instead of us. We were almost going back to the Conte days where we didn't have a lot of the ball but when ever we had it we were trying to use it and play quickly.

As it was we got a bit lucky,  two keeping f**kups and an own goal, but crucially we looked much more secure without the ball.

We still had a decent amount of possession but we were more incisive with the ball. There were times where I wish we were more courageous on the ball rather than playing it back to the keeper, but in the end it worked out fine.

As for our goals, I would only put the own goal down as fortunate but we were pressing very well. Oli and Mason's goals were shots on target and De Gea couldn't get enough on either.

Personally the 3-4-3 formation works wonders with the squad we have, and gets the best out of our defense as well. I would stick with it against Liverpool and Wolves.

It is also Azpi's natural position and lets Reece do more in the midfield. It is no wonder, to me, why the two of them had their best matches of the season. I really hope Frank continues to put those two in positions to attack during the last four matches. It opens up our game and makes opposing defenses have to worry about five-to-six attacking threats.

I love you Frank but tonight was horrendous. We were set up wrong with the wrong team. We’ve matched Liverpool every game this season and decided to change it based on the SF win on Sunday.

He waited too long to change it as well for me, changes should have been on at HT when it was 3-1 and we were still in the game. We were lucky they didn’t score 7 or 8 tonight. It doesn’t help when you’d be better with Casper the ghost in goal mind you.

Not going to dwell on it too long as I’ve said enough in the match thread but that was a very bad night for Frank. To be expected as he’s young and still learning but this wasn’t the night to have it. He really has to get the team on track for the weekend because we have to get something from that game.

If Man United does not win the last game, we are out of Campions.

Frank Lampard is this club's biggest problem.

How was your holiday out of interest? Did you go anywhere nice? Personally I have a trip to Wembley coming up... well yes, I know it's not much, but you know how things are with the lockdown!

You do realise that we still have a game to play and we only need a point? Frank has done a fantastic job anyone would have struggled under the circumstances.

Nonsense. He needs to work on his defensive coaching but the defenders and keeper he inherited are clearly our biggest problem. Anyone who can't see that is blind.

Our defenders aren't world class but they are also not bottom 4 level the manager needs to sort it out.

Like I said before even if you bring in better defenders if the tactical framework is still not correct those new defenders will be looking like pub players also.

Our defenders can't deal with basic stuff. Basic crosses are easy tap ins and headed goals. Our keeper is literally one of our worst investments of all time, if not the worst.

Honestly when Klopp had Karius nobody was saying that nothing will change because he doesn't have a good system...

54 league goals conceded this season.

The last time we conceded 54 or more goals in the league was in 1997 when we won the fa cup and conceded 55 goals  So at least that's coming our way?

We have never conceded more than 55 goals in the premier league.

Klopp was a proven winner

What tonight also shown was how far liverpool are ahead of Manyoo, how did Rudi and zouma look so good on sunday, yet looked scared sh*tless of the Scousers, Zouma is a real liberty, an old fashioned stopper, with absolute zero confidence to play like say Christensen, (i Didn't,t say defend like him, even though i prefer him), we could ideally replace the back 3 or 4 and Keeper Kepa....

on the night he was the only defender who could say he tried to defend.. Rudiger stopped defending after 60 mins and gifted them chances, Azpi gifted them the third..  I would take Zouma all day over Gomez, AC, Rudiger..

When Rudiger is poor, he's just awful, looked like he's not even making efforts. Zouma is limited technically, but the guy is putting a shift and throwing his body on the line more often that not. If we sign a top defender, Zouma could just focus on his "stopper" job and we'd be in much better place.

The GK was god damn non-existent, but several defenders were just as bad week in week out.

Or a troll, who didn't post his brave opinions when we were winning the FA Cup semi final.
