I think we will get the CL and the narrative will probably switch to fired up Frank delivers.

As it happens through work I have known 3 German women who I liked and 3 German chaps that I was unsure as to whether they were arrogant or just naturally over confident. 

One thing's for sure Frank will certainly get a hostel reception next time we play at Anfield.

4th! What an achievement.

Take my hat of for Super Frankie Lampard. No one expected it before the season and the man have gone and done it!

Think we all need to take a moment to appreciate the job Frank has done this season.

Losing our best player, transfer ban and introducing so many youngsters to have secure champions league with an FA cup final to come is nothing short of amazing and none of us can complain.

There has been a few negatives, mainly out defence frailties but I can’t help but feel the future with Frank is bright.

A successful season for Frank.

• Lost Eden Hazard
• Played the youth
• Transfer ban
• Top 4 finish
• Last 16 of the Champions League
• FA Cup final, with hopefully a victory to come.

Well done to the great man. Lots of positives, and plenty of improvement ahead of us.

Congratulations, great first season. CL football, FA Cup final and a lot of promise in Mount, James, Tammy, RLC.

That is an excellent achievement from Lampard, the coaching staff and the players. Everything was stacked against us this season. We sold Hazard, we had a transfer ban, and a lot of our key players from the season before were injured. We were in no position to challenge for top 4, but we did and we actually finished 4th too. My expectations have been exceeded, it's been a very successful season, even if we don't manage to beat Arsenal in the final of the F.A cup.

Winning the FA Cup would be the icing on the cake.

I want to see Frank win silverware as coach, and it would be huge for the playing group going forward if we could pull it off.

Great first season. 

Frank is a Club Legend and he's one of us and it's great to have him taking us forward. Lets enjoy the journey.

 

 

Incredible achievement from Frank this year! Lost our current best and possibly best ever player, had a transfer bad, an aging squad, no c;lear leaders and few certain starters in the team. Despite all that he's got us into the champions league and brought through the young players we've been desperate to see for a decade! Great season for us all things considered!

Top it off and get the FA cup Frankie!

Great job from Frank & his team, I think they’ve exceeded all expectations but next season is when his real test starts. He needs to show he’s learnt from some of his mistakes this season and hopefully with the continued back of the owner he’ll have a good chance of improving on this season. 

Good first season!! Cup finals and Top 4 despite a world crisis and our best player of the decade leaving. 

Surely earned a bit of faith now.

I dodnt think he could this job last summer, i thought it was too early for him, but what ge has acheived is fantastic. 

Looking forward to seeing how he has us playing once he has signed some players.

 

Couldn’t be more happy, let’s hope he’s our manager for a while to come!

Absolutely fabulous achievement this season ... 32% of the selections Lampard has made for the starting XI and substitutions have been Academy players, who have also contributed 32% (32 out of 100) of our goals.

Going to be great to see how the new signings blend with the talent we already have. Exciting times to be Blue !

Id like to see @brakeit his go to excuse for Conte not getting top 4 in the second season was that he only had £200m to spend.

And two of them have connections to us which probably swayed their prediction in our favour.

Lot of backtracking on social media/reddit/other forums, apparently they all rated our squad all along and top 4 was the minimum we should have achieved.

its quite funny.. ole dug a hole for united himself and now folks are saying what a great achivement it is for utd and him.. Lamps took a team and transformed it and folks are saying we always had the squad.. but the reality is different..  from last year's starting 11 - Hazard, RLC, Morata, Luiz, Kante were replaced with Tammy, Reece, Pulisic, Mount, Tomori.. 3 of them championship players and one couldnt start in the bundesliga... so the so called pundits should look themselves in the mirror and give themselves a reality check and just admit they were wrong !
