The standards are disgraceful at the top level. The FA should see this is a clear issue and encourage some of the retired players to take on officiating, I cringe everytime I see some of these old overweight men trying to keep up with such elite level athletes.
August 24, 20196 yr First win under Frankie which is the main thing!! The VAR stuff is a disgrace though, it’s not being used to the benefit of the game, some shocking decisions.
August 24, 20196 yr Well thank god for that ! Still lets not kids ourselves defensively we look like we are in trouble

I suppose the issue there would be impartiality.
August 24, 20196 yr Need to tighten up the back, can't play like that against the better teams will concede more than two Good win away from home
August 24, 20196 yr EXCELLENT - Well played that young team ! Great to see the English academy lads leading the way with the goals, and all superbly taken as well ? Edited August 24, 20196 yr by Sexyfootball
August 24, 20196 yr Get in, first win and we were quality going forward. Abraham has shown he's got the right mentality, didn't shy away from any in my opinion unjust pressure. Mount looks a proper player, become our most important midfielder in 3 games.
August 24, 20196 yr There is potential in our team if we can sort the defence, plus still waiting on a few key players to recover from injuries. 3 points and we're away with our 1st win, so lets build on the positives.
August 24, 20196 yr Tammy MOTM with Kovacic and Mount as honourable mentions. Our defense needs to get their positioning right, I have the feeling like there's always one playing the opposition onside. Except for Emerson maybe because he's too far up the pitch for that most of the time.

I’d rather we were a bit more forceful in our stance to these things. Jose ‘there’s a campaign against chelsea’ is about as close as it got but we were in a sticky spot and just beat so I think it came across as sour grapes. It should be highlighted after a win like today to highlight how poor those decisions were today.
August 24, 20196 yr A much needed win. The 2nd half performance was much more balanced from us. Officials made an ass of themselves again, VAR is highlighting just how crap they really are. People have said over they years that they need help, well they have been given as much help as they can be given. You can't criticise them without being punished, they have goal line technology, they have VAR. Just how much more help do they need before we just admit that they aren't good enough? August 24, 20196 yr Well a win's a win i guess. Much better 2nd half, although that defense still worries me, the sooner Rudiger comes back the better. I also felt we missed Kante's presence in that midfield, i doubt Norwich would've got at our defense so easily with Kante and we would've won this comfortably. Honestly though it's 3 points and something for Frank to build on COME ON CHELSEA!!!!
