I  am one of his biggest critics but he got it absolutely spot on today, so why can't he get this performance more we have seen it once or twice this season but not consistent.

He needs to stick to this system and get better, younger , fitter players to play this way.

CHO has struggled since from his injury. Perhaps he could do with a loan

A kick up the arse is what is needed. He obviously has the skill but without effort and application he won't achieve what he is touted to do. A loan is probably a must for him.

Fantastic result and performance.

Avoided this place before kick off, because theres been alot of negativity.

Thats 8 wins from last 10, and we have beaten every top team in that run. There should be no fear about wolves at home.

Great all over the pitch.

Mount, Giroud, Azpi, and James were probably the pick of tbe bunch, but we defended well, and Jorginho and kovacic worked really well in snd out of possession.

Lets finish the seasom sttongly now, fa cup and 3rd place.

No fear of going to Anfield now.

Wow didn't see that coming thought we would lose.

Thought before Olly discarded the 3 CBs due to injury it was dead level though we had the best chances it was still wide open.

Then we scored twice and De Gea had a bad moment for the 2nd.

We stayed alert and worked hard and stopped them getting many chances.

The third was a bonus and pressure from Rudiger forced Maguire into an own goal.

As Wellington said of Napoleon at Waterloo, 'He's just a pounder after all' and so it seemed with Olly after changing his defensive system he could not beat us just using counter attack.

A great day, a Blue Day and onwards to meet the Arse!

Let's get this energy against Liverpool and we win simply as.

yessir.. It was the exact line up i picked for the man u match. i wanted to rest pulisic for liverpool but i think we should stick to same line up. We seem more secure definsively and can easily nick a goal on the break. All in all a draw against liverpool wont be a bad result because i dont see leicester beating man u

You should have heard Stewart Robson - before the match he predicted that manure would dominate

It's not even the likes of Robson before the match, but literally non stop Man Utd all the way through .

Great from everyone although I still sh*t myself when the ball goes near Zouma.

Lol we've only managed to score 1 goal against them in 3 matches so far this season. An aggregate of 8-1 I believe. We seem to play well against the likes of Liverpool

but totally clueless when it comes to united.

Not today we weren’t.

Just re watching the 3 cfc goals and two was mistakes by their keeper ,infact the 3rd was their keepers fault awswell  hence to say are we getting beyond our sens with own knicker wetting over this win > if their keeper was on top form and not made those 3 mistakes ,would we be sat watching extra time and pens ?

or is it just me been a bar humbug

I don't believe he could have regressed that much in space of one year

I honestly think he has. I think this injury has seriously affected his pace and his confidence in his own legs and ankles. Watch him off the ball, his whole body language is to bob around and turn backwards. As we know the easy move for a forward is to turn back towards your own goal as the defenders won't press you generally. Everything he does is negative, rarely runs and has no desire or energy to engage with the opposition.  I know he is still young, but I thought we should have taken the Bayern money and I still think we should cash in if possible.

Bar humbug. Totally outplayed, out muscled, out thought the media darlings.

Never posted here after a loss to Chelsea - hope this doesn't become a regular thing. ?

The better team won today - no doubt. We were tired and had 2 days less rest than Chelsea, and the correct approach was to high press the hell out of United, which we're tactically susceptible to anyways. You had the ball in better areas and took more initiative. You also pushed your wingbacks so high up the pitch that Rashford had to keep dropping back in the whole first half, which took away the only threat we had going forward. Bruno was good but he had no one to pass out to. Lampard clearly watched how Southampton troubled us and the mistakes were repetitive. Credit to Reece James, Alonso and Azpi who had terrific games and snuffed out any chances we might create. Giroud's movement today was very good as well. Ole clearly had the right idea when he predicted and tried to match 3 at the back, but the moment Bailly went off we lost all shape and immediately conceded. Since then Lampard outclassed and outthought us, and you didn't even have to bring on Pulisic.

De Gea had 2 howlers - they're getting more frequent these days. He's won 4 POTY awards for us and has been our only consistently world class player since SAF left, but he's just fallen off a cliff since the World Cup debacle. We're at a very awkward place where a club legend is single handedly losing games for us. I have no idea how Ole will handle this - since DDG still has 3 years left on a mega contract. Henderson is clearly the better keeper on form, but how can you just dump a 29 yo keeper who still has world classes reflexes in some games?

I have to also acknowledge Jose and Lampard's comments on the refs favouring United worked all game. Chelsea committed 20+ fouls and got away without a single card. I understand a Chelsea forum might not agree, but that was foul by Zouma on Martial and should have been a penalty. Rudiger/Azpi/Kovacic in particular kept committing City-esque tactical fouls and got away with it, and United didn't have an answer for that. Perhaps it's karma for all the luck we had against Palace.

Just an overall bad day in office - our unbeaten run had to end at some point.
