RLC has been abysmal. It is only the first half of the first game of the season so far too early to jump to any conclusions. He is still (kind of) working his way back from injury, so let's be patient. 

Saying that, I really would like to see Lampard take him off at half time.

Havertz needs to go more central he's been nonexistent here. RLC has been poor, bring CHO on for him and move Havertz central. 

Brighton have played well tbf, put one lapse of concentration and there losing

He has absolutely been poor. I am not denying that. But I also am not a fan of giving up on a player less than 45 minutes into the first game of the season. He needs a run of games to get some confidence back I think.

I love Timo Werner already.

No one is saying sell him but he’s not played particularly well today. There’s no agenda by stating that when it’s clear. It’s early with no pre season, no one is writing him off but there’s no point in leaving him on when he’s not playing well. That doesn’t help the team or the player.

On a lighter note - RLC is playing like sh*te, I’d replace him at half time. 

I done a fair bit of driving around fratton aswell, I'd say I made the right decision moving to Malta ? I think that failed attempted from RLC to put Werner in was more about brilliant defending tbh. That wasn't a great amount of time to play the ball. White had the angle closed down the whole time he was back tracking.

By all accounts you're going to have to get used to Havertz. He apparently always looks like this. 

Not a great half, but some promising moments. Werner has been the best of the bunch so far, everybody else needs to up their game to the same levels.

Exactly this, I think he's quality. Has loads to offer us. He's just not been good enough tonight. It'll happen it's first game of the season.

I agree and I suspect he will be subbed off early in the second half unless he improves. But a lot of people were calling for him to be hauled off after 15 minutes. Lets be realistic 

Liking what I'm seeing from Werner. We have been so sorely lacking on direct runs up front and something willing to put pressure on keepers.

Kepa made a decent save but yet again was flapping at a corner. Loftus Cheek had a poor half, lots of too-slow balls and losing possession.

Far from being a classic. Brightons 3 at back system gives them the ball. Ruben is useless. He has been for a while. Glad we are still ahead and a clean sheet so far. Werner looks a very very good signing. 

not as promising a start as i had hoped for.. but only 1st game. werner looking good though. nervous for the liverpool game.

Someone needs to tell RLC it's not a warmup but an actual match, he's been absolutely awful so far.

Loftus-Cheek has been poor but in no way he’s the only one. Our midfield is missing and being bossed by Brighton. Haven’t seen Kante for a while. Jorginho is also missing in big parts of the game. We are just not capable of controlling the midfield.

Love Timo already but we’ve looked awful beside him. RLC is just not a winger or I don’t know he’s just been awful on every pass.
