Werner is a real deal, Zouma is a good CB, Reece is going fine, Kante is Kante. Lot of positives after a game of two massive mistakes.

I think with a Fabregas or even a david luiz, it wouldve worked a treat, but the defence and midfield have shown pretty poor vision.

There is no real 'way' we try to play, it's play it out from the back and when closed down lump it up the park. It's pretty dire to watch. 

We still have Pulisic, Silva and Ziyeck to come in so that's some reason for hope but the signs so far are not good.

The way Liverpool and City do it is modern football. With intimidating keepers with great delivery.

Kepa always takes 2 seconds too long before passing it to the nearest defender or lumps it forward. It's just dumb

I kept saying you can buy all the players you want if the tactics sh*t then you get the same results with just expensive players

It is very easy for Frank to bench Kepa after this. Mendy is finalised on next week and Kepa doesn't pay again.

For all the exciting signings we made, our football is boring af.

A result vs vermin today under all the circumstances was going to be dependent on a bit of luck which walked off the pitch along with  AC, unfortunately we’ve witnessed the same problems as last season highlighting the lack of midfield creativity, defense and keeper shortcomings.  Let’s trust the manager for now and hope that once all players are available, and crucially there is any body keeping goal other than Kepa, then hopefully performance will improve. Those scrappy 3 points at Brighton look real good right now !

Routine loss. Time to forget about this game and to look forward.

We will be able to compete with the best once we fix our defense and keeper, our midfield is fine and our attack will look amazing once our wingers are back.
