No we weren't. It was an even game but for some reason every time Liverpool get the ball, we dropped deep immediately. You either play the high press or you play a deep block. We have 2 people pressing and the rest drop so deep. We get the ball back but we keep giving the ball to Kante encouraging him to go even more up the field when there are so many better players better positioned.

We lack the courage to even try to take a shot at goal in the first half. Except for Werner

Liverpool have looked better in every department today. Only Kante would get in this Liverpool side and perhaps Werner. The rest have been average and Jorginho has just capped another poor performance with a crap penalty. He can be sold with Christensen and Kepa.

Rudiger had 1 bad season, Christensen was bad his whole career.

I wasn't expecting anything from this game, and a draw would have been something great.

BUT, the manner of this defeat is beyond concerning for me.  The lack of gut, character, determination, discipline, professionalism and quality in this Chelsea side is appalling.  This rests on Frank's shoulders as they were never set up for success.  We can't defend with a back four anyway, so you go with a weak back four on paper plus Kepa.  I am surprised he didn't play it very safe with a back 3 and go man for man with them.

Teams have to do so little to get a goal or result against us.  That is what frustrates me the most (not taking anything away from Liverpool - men against boys today).

Jorginho's shots are 100% placement and 0% power. Sucks that Alisson knew how to counter it.

lol I think we understand you don’t like him. We haven’t attacked them since the first minute even with 11 men. So, I’m not convinced it would make a difference. This result is on Frank, we were set up all wrong.
