We should dominate from minute one. Don't give them them the ball. Don't make it a battle. Siege the box. Play with the three creative players behind the forward - Pulisic, Ziyech and Havertz. No more bullsh*t. No Mount, no Werner in the three behind. Playing with 3 in the back shouldnt even be considered as an option.

That's how Pep treats them. They will only be a problem if Frank makes them a problem.

They are the perfect opponent for Pulisic-Ziyech-Haverz and Werner up front.  If we don't see these four, we will struggle. And if we struggle and we dont get the three points, it will 100% be on Frank.

I really hope that Lampard noticed how our team played the best football, with a strong defense and strong attack.

This is the lineup I'd like to see:

------------- Mendy -----------

James -- Thiago -- Zouma -- Chilwell

-------------- Kante --------------

--- Havertz ----------- Mount -------

Ziyech -------- Werner --------- Pulisic

I'm so confident in this team, I think from our game against Krasnodar we will raise our level of football.

Must win for us, COME ON CHELS!!!

This. However, Werner, Havertz and Mount need to make sure they have better spacing in the middle of the pitch. The other concern would be the amount of space between Hsvertz, Mount and Kante. Maybe move Chillwell up with Kante to make it a 3-2-2-3.

I would also move Ziyech to be the designated free kick and corner taker. He is a better passer than Chillwell plus it frees Chillwell to crash the net.

James - Silva - Zouma - Chilwell

                     Kante

            Havertz - Mount

      Ziyech - Werner - Pulisic

6 - 0 Chelsea courtesy of a double hat-trick of own goals by Ashley Barnes. Namanja Matic stood on the sidelines slow claps each of the goals before being allowed to personally send Barnes off due to a late intervention from VAR as they review the "tackle" from 2015.

This would be my starting XI as well ?

This team for me, James and Ziyech on one wing, Chilwell and Hudson-Odi the other wing, stretch Burnley the width of the pitch (they love to defend narrow), which will create more space in the middle for Mount and Havertz to penetrate, Tammy the target man, back to goal he's great at laying off balls, with four players around him. plenty of options.

Then 60-70 mins Pulisic for Ziyech, switch wings with Hudson-Odi so Pulisic is on the left, Werner for Abraham, and Jorginho for Havertz or Mount.

Burnley 0 - 5 Chelsea

This will be our Conte vs Hull moment. Lampard, after allowing the new signings to get up to speed, lauching his attacking 4-3-3.

A midfield of Kante, Havertz, Mount -- and a front three of Ziyech, Giroud, Werner (Mount's inclusion allowing Werner to drift inside and play off of Giroud).

8-0 to Chelsea. Sean Dyche to peel off his fake goatee in anger, stamping it into the touchline in a baby-faced tantrum. Only positive for him being his throat clears amidst all the screaming.

But, no. I'm saying we'll pay well and win 3-0 (and Dyche to lose his Goatee).

Hope we are professional today. Great CL trip and facing a side that has been awful. All the signs are there for us to struggle today.

I think we need some clinical finishing and just solid D.

Jones Knows the skybet pundit doesn't fancy us today at all.

The temptation of getting 11/2 with Sky Bet about Burnley is just too juicy to ignore.

You see that Chelsea bandwagon over there? I am not on it.

Frank Lampard is one talented human being, no question, and he may have convinced the betting markets regarding Chelsea's current form but he has not tricked me.

I am yet to believe his Chelsea team have a thirst for defending on the road or have even found the right balance between attack and defence to the extent that they can be relied upon to win at 1/2 with Sky Bet away from home.

Surprise results after Russian away day

2018: Arsenal lose 2-1 to Newcastle after drawing 2-2 with CSKA

2015: Liverpool lose 2-1 at home to Palace after winning at Rubin Kazan

2014: Man City lose 2-1 to West Ham after drawing in Moscow - that was the only game they lost in 18 PL matches

2013: Tottenham lose 3-0 at home to West Ham after beating FC Anji

Remember, this is a team that have won just three of their last 12 away Premier League games and have kept just two clean sheets in 22 league games on the road under Lampard. Big swerve.

I was on minute-by-minute blogging duty for their 4-0 win over Krasnodar in midweek - a fantastic result, sure, but a scoreline that absolutely flattered them with two late goals against the deflated hosts putting unheralded gloss on the scoreboard. At 1-0 down, Krasnodar struck the bar and were the better team when Timo Werner fired home a very fortunate penalty award.

The hefty 2,000 mile journey back from Russia also is a huge negative for Chelsea to deal with, such mammoth trips have caught fellow 'top teams' out in their next fixture. The record of Premier League teams in their next game having played a midweek game in Russia since 2013 reads: P13 W2 D2 L9. That is a staggering statistic when you factor in most of those teams in question will have gone off heavy favourites for the match in question.

I can trust Burnley to take advantage. Do not be fooled by their winless start. Sean Dyche's men are as rugged and defensively solid as last season - as shown by their expected goals against figure of 1.03 per game which ranks among the best defences in the league. Spurs, arguably the hottest attack in the league on form, found it very tough to find a way through on Monday with Burnley restricting them to a 0.68 xG figure in the 1-0 defeat.

With their threat at set-pieces, Burnley are no 11/2 shots to take maximum points off Chelsea that's for sure.

JONES KNOWS PREDICTS: 2-1

This guy Jones should keep up to date with things considering he wants to be a betting pundit.

He hasn't mentioned our new defence/keeper at all, our recent clean sheets merely swept under the carpet, almost as if he wants you to forget about that.

Wet and very windy day in Lancashire, not a game for those who hide or are weak. Expect if the wind is blowing down the ground that Burnley will go very direct, being aware of the knock on ball is essential.

I saw bit of Burnley-Man City and Burnley were lucky to only concede 3, they actually try to press a lot and that opens a lot of space so if they don't change their game plan we should dominate the game.

I won't lie,I'm a little worried, our form of letting crap teams get points, and playing away in Russia.

I feel the same way. Teams in bad form often get something against us.

Sad but true,

let’s hope this isn’t the case today

4-3-3? Gutsy XI.

Really hope it works out! Could be really exciting going forward if it does.
