October 31, 20205 yr And PS noticed how much better the deep mid was in 433 with Kova & Jorginho on the bench. Hate to ruffle a few feathers but think they should warm it for a lot more matches going fwd
October 31, 20205 yr kante looked class out there.. did everything.. what did they say about him.. yeah there were two of them out there.

October 31, 20205 yr Might be early to say but 4-3-3 looks like the way to go . we were very comfortable today. And defensively solid.

October 31, 20205 yr Not many teams play that well at Turf Moor. It was enjoyable to watch...which hasn’t been true for many games recently. Excellent team performance. Ziyech is going to be a hell of a player, and with Pulisic on the other wing! Havertz looking better and better. Werner, clearly a bit fatigued, but a class finish. In Chilly, we finally have a left back to rival Ashley. My man of the match is Silva. His calm presence, expert positioning and decision making, and pure quality on the ball sets the tone for the entire team.

October 31, 20205 yr Burnley had no shots on target but i know if Kepa started we would have conceded. Thank God we have the BLACK PANTHER MENDY
October 31, 20205 yr It's what we've been crying out for for donkeys. Kante in front of back four instead of Jorginho. Proper defensive cover, means we don't have Kante playing in a position he isn't comfortable in and that spot is filled by someone who is. All players in their best positions rather than square pegs due to accommodating a penalty taker who plays the occasional good pass. Long may it last.

October 31, 20205 yr Absolute Quality. Never an easy place to go, especially in wet November, but great performance by the boys today. Just shows, the defence just needed some quality and what a difference a proper keeper makes. We now have the nucleus of a very good squad and I think Frank now pretty much knows his best 11. Everyone great today and it will be hard for Lamps to drop anyone although there will of course be some rotation with so many games. My MOTM - lot to pick from but will go for Kante who proved a lot of doubters wrong - one in particular!!

It was a joke about how you spelt MOM it should of been MOTM, MOM just spells mum...the American version anyway. He doesn't know your parents. It was a witty reply and if you truly found that insulting then you have no place on the internet my friend. And I think in my response you would of found it more of amused then anything my response to yours was one of humour. Calm down man Edited October 31, 20205 yr by Malta Blue Snowflake alert
October 31, 20205 yr Again we turned up in the second half and put some good performance to win this game. Kept Burnley away from our goal, every player did his position almost perfectly. Some great moments of forward possession, creation in the final third. We could even win more than 3-0, but I'm taking this win happily. Let's hope we will continue in that way! COME ON CHELS!!
October 31, 20205 yr Awesome win. Our defence just needed a proper GK and a world class CB. With Mount and Kai in Midfield, Kante doesn't need to be all over the place and is able to just win balls and protect space (his best attributes). Ziyech putting the magic back in our attacks Timo had a poor game bar the goal. I'll take it. Havertz needs to cut out cheap giveaways. Pity for Pulisic, he just can't catch a break atm. Slowly going the Robben route but hopefully he is managed well.
October 31, 20205 yr Credit to Frank our first consecutive win of the Season. Decent subs at reasonable times. First half well on top yet score did not reflect that at just 1-0 to the Blues. We had a few dodgy moments with Zouma underhitting a back pass 26m and in unsavory wrestling situations with Wood, fortunately the ref saw it our way and the underpass was dealt with by Mendy. Despite having loads of possession and good width it seemed ages until we scored though was only the 26th minute with some good interplay with Werner and Tammy setting up Ziyech. We continued to press for a second yet the ball did not drop right or we managed to get off-side. Mount was good first half and his run though the middle on 23mins was great with one-twos threatening to open up Burnley. Shout for a penalty on 14m with Chilwell being pushed in the box, not examined. Second half the workrate was still high and we threatened and Zouma scores with his head as he has been threatening to do for a few matches and nice to see today he got it right. Kante had a decent match for me making lots of interceptions and seeming more positionally disciplined than usual. Burnley were forced to come forward more and we eventually made the pressure count on 69m with James and Ziyech combining to put Werner through for a good finish. Up until the goal did not think Werner was having a good game with off-sides and not taking the most of opportunities yet he stuck at it and deserved the goal for me. Silva made a decent tackle late on and was also good in trying to move the ball forward when the U formation threatened to become boring. Mendy had a good game. Kai and Ziyech were caught on the ball a few times yet kept working and closing down and kept moving us forward Ref was not unkind to us though were a few small decisions like fouls given against us that in my opinion were soft. October 31, 20205 yr Make no mistake, that win was built on the back of the last 3 or so games of Frank prioritising defensive control over all out attack. We look a brilliant cohesive unit, with Silva dominating and marshaling. Brilliant win.

October 31, 20205 yr I need to see that Zouma goal again in close up and slo mo, but it looks like the corner from Mount hit him on the ear and went in, rather than it being a header of text book technique LOL
October 31, 20205 yr Our best performance of the season by a distance played some lovely stuff and kept another clean sheet credit to Frank on changing things making us more solid at the back it has made all the difference in confidence in the team.
