Despite scoring the winning goal his choices were mostly poor. Batshuayi was trying very hard, but oh dear...

It was but then again their build up to it was offside so all's fair. I watched the first half on ATV and they were going wild about how poor the ref had been. Watched the second and listened to Nevin's take about the Arsenal players tactic of running across players and falling down and the referee having none of it. Interesting how there were two different takes. I know who I side with though haha.

My main take away, mostly from that second half, is that we have a lot of players who are simply not good enough for Chelsea. 

Another prime example of absolute failings in recruitment over the past 5/6 years; were now left with an abundance of average, average players who will be impossible to shift on for a decent amount. 
 

Yet another game that highlights exactly how badly the club need a genuine, reliable number 9. That game would have ended 6/7-2 if Tammy had opposite feet and Timo wasn’t petrified the second he approaches the box.

I really hope we can find a suitable home for Kepa.

Edou going to the ACON has serious season derailment potential at this point.

RLC was shockingly slow to release the ball and the few times he finally manage to let go of the ball he telegraphed it. We could use that 4th proper DM/CM with 60+ games in the upcomming season, Drinkwater shouldn't be close to the bench, even in preseason games. Our decision making in the final third is still horrible to watch, the only exception beeing Kai Havertz. 

We have got a lot of bang average players here at this club.

It’s probably that rather than the 1st team players who academy players are upset about being behind in the pecking order.

Were chelsea fans allowed in....might be my eyes but i didnt see any when i watched highlights on youtube...
