guess will se the best of Pogba this season

New contract negotiation tactic. Big problem is he is excelling playing further up the pitch where they are heavily stacked.

Thank God we have a buyback clause on Livramento, two brilliant games and as things stand we need to activate it next season or after. Has shades of Bale about him, who started as a FB but was moved further upfield.

Pogba is frighteningly good when on song and in the right environment, just as he was at Juventus, he was surrounded by top players and the whole squad had a winning mentality.

Supposedly he will see out his current contract and will be a free agent next summer. Aged 29.

Now if he was 25 I'd have sure given him 400-450k a week as a free agent, the way this squad is built and the way every single player buys into Tuchel's tactics, I can only imagine the Pogba-Kante combo in the midle of the pitch, I know some would say it would not work as he is lazy and can't track back, but I personally think he'd be awesome in the current Chelsea setup.

Wait till you offer him that contract and find out he is better upfield. Utd have a big problem going forward when everyone is fit; Rashford, Pogba and arguably Sancho are better on the left. Do they offer him the reported £500k/w to play as a LW or let a £90m asset walk for free?

West Ham - title contenders 😮😱

Would honestly be the funniest thing ever if Divhead Moyes wins the league before OGS and the hundreds of millions they spent just to have a PE teacher who claps a lot on the sidelines, kind of like Arteta I suppose.

Ronaldo linked to Manchester City as they’re apparently close to giving up on trying to sign Kane.

Meanwhile Real Madrid have submitted an official bid for Mbappe!

Going to be an interesting end to the transfer window this year.

Watching Pogba this season, he's actually one of the few players that should not be confined to a position. Anytime that he has space and movement in front of him, he can ping a pass there.

In theory, Havertz-Pogba would be a devastating combo

We're lucky Utd always tried to fit him into a system when they should have built a system around him.

Man United fans will lose their minds if Ronaldo goes to City...

I think it's crazy to bid 150m for Mbappe when they could get him for free next season.

Offensively you can argue he is the best midfielder in the world, even better than kdb.

Kane is staying at Tottenham.

Makes a title-push for us more likely.

Kane's biggest mistake was that he didn't push for a move after they lost the Champions League final. I don't know why he stuck around for a further 2 years before deciding that he wanted to leave. If he finishes his career with no trophies at this point, it would be his own fault.

He's staying 'this summer', so when the autumn sets in he's off?

I don't know what's in his contract, but during negotiations he was either poorly advised or chose not to listen to good advice, especially if a gentlemen's agreement about a transfer with Levy was involved.

Indeed.

Kane: ‘We had a gentlemen’s agreement though?!’

Levy: ‘Silly boy, I’m not a gentleman. Gotcha!’

Pochettino made him believe and then a week before the cup final they sack Mourinho because the excluded stars made a fuss.

You start to understand how it could happen though with hindsight seems a bad mistake.

I don’t understand how Kane is suddenly happy with staying at Spurs. Even though his media team is in overdrive and saying the right things, surely deep down he is very peeved at being forced to stay. It does make it easier for us though.

Means that Haaland will have a choice of City or Bayern next season.
