Sevilla and Chelsea now have a verbal agreement in place for Jules Kounde. Advanced talks continuing to  finalise. Kounde has already agreed personal terms with #CFC and they are more preferable than the offer from Barcelona. Barca haven't yet made a formal counter-offer.

Barcelona expect to activate their second lever on Thursday. Monchi has told them to bid or walk away and they will have to now match Chelsea’s offer in a straight-cash deal. Sevilla prefer to sell to #CFC. Kounde open to both moves with Chelsea’s personal terms preferential.

There’s talk now that Barcelona are activating one of their magical financial levers and this could scupper our bid for Kounde. Because of course it couldn’t be straightforward.

So frustrating. Just taking ages and Barca messing. However I think we’ll get this one through eventually. Barca won’t outbid us and Kounde and Sevilla prefer Chelsea.

Judging from their past (most notable being illegal contacts with Neymar’s family and blatantly grooming Fabregas as well) I’m sure they don’t really care about the rules when it comes to getting players.
