f**king outstanding defending by Silva. We need to tighten up, Villa are getting far too many chances in this game.

We seem to be doing a fair bit of scrambling around at the back - fortunate so far...

Wrong game to bring Sual into, not up to speed at all. You don't get time on the ball in the Premier League. Would have been better for him to watch and learn before throwing him in at the first opportunity.

I know we are a goal up, but this is worrying me. Too much tinkering from Tuchel.

Saul having a bakayoko level performance so far. Crazy to bring him in as a starter, we'd have been better off playing Ruben or Chalobah in midfield.

He looks confused and understandably so. He is clearly not used to pl speed and he is not sure where he need to be and what to dom

we need to stem this from Villa - just too easy to move through our midfield. I'd get Saul off at HT

I agree as poor as Barkley may be at the moment right now I'd take him over Saul; he's been caught in possession far too many times in dangerous areas.

Tuchel better have a word with this Saul, a LOUD word.

My wife has just had our 3rd kid and we managed to get home for the game. This is not the relaxing match I was hoping for! 
 

Villa look decent. We don’t look like we’re controlling the match at all. 

Tyrone Mings has made a living off being tall and left-footed

Saul and CHO been bad so far. This is why Villa looks good.
