Chelsea v Man Utd (PL) Sun 28th Nov 2021 16:30 GMT

I guess I'll have to listen to Scholes at HT saying how great Utd have been and how they have been the best side and their defensive unit is far better that Chelsea's.

Pretty disappointed with that half. Too slow on the ball, and the attackers are not attacking the space for the few crosses we’ve had.
CHO should have scored - must take those chances. After that not really created that much clear cut.
RLC needs to release the ball quicker also. Timo stay in the middle or bring on Havertz or Rom

Alonso looking way off .. slept off for the Sancho chance .. clearly not match fit.. costing our attacking play given how much of the ball he has given away.

RLC also been quite poor .. lost the ball 2/3 times in our half..

CHO should have scored .. Werner is looking lost .. he is not making the right runs..

need havertz on for Werner.

I think it's very obvious that Alonso is rusty after not playing for some time you can see it on his first touch but even so he sold that yellow card so well because he doesn't really have the pace for that.

70% possession, Man United look like a mid table team if I'm to be honest. We can only blame ourselves for not scoring in this first half.

CHO has let me down a bit, he has all the ability but his decision making has been questionable. If your striker is free in the box pass the ball to him it's as simple as that. You go for personal glory once the game has been secured not before

If we drop points in this game it would be on CHO. Around the 5th minute all he had to do is to square the ball for Werner and it would have been 1:0.  It's infuriating how greedy and selfish(or stupid) some players are.

This was always going to be a tough game. We have struggled against United in recent seasons, even with their ropey defense.

Can make it a tiny bit easier for ourself and not play Ziyech(hollywood), who makes every pass and shot way to complicated. Trying to dribble when he as 2-3 free teammates around him....

Werner is also completley wrong as a focal point against such weak defenders as Lindelof and Bailey. Get Mount and Lukaku on asap!

Excellent effort at counterjinx!

I can’t deny that crossed my mind. I like it when someone quotes it later after we win 3-0 and calls me a c#@t (but Yorkley isn’t around still is he?)

Sadly though, I fear I’m going to be right today. It was inevitable that United would make some manner of improvement for this game, even if it is just being less sieve like. Add that to our cows arse and banjo finishing and there you go.

we should be better, this isn't good enough, you need to be 3-0 up against such a poor side
