Levi Colwill

Rumors of Klopp having a conversation with Colwill directly on the phone.

What is with all the tapping up going on these days? Tuchel and Klopp need to wind their necks in if true because you know they would whinge if it were one of their players.

One of which use to jump at anyone refusing to be anything but uber positive about literally everything in the Tuchel era.

Indeed. And now he has a beef against Colwill because he came out and said Tuchel practically ignored him when he was here.

I believe the reports tbh, tapping up is part and parcel of the game and clubs will be hesitant in reporting it as it basically damages b2b relationships permanently. In addition to that, if Pochettino comes out all guns blazing on Klopp (if let’s say he saw the evidence). It just makes us look small time and adds further media focus to something we’re trying to resolve internally in the first place.

Everyone contacts players and their agents before the club these days. You think we asked Brighton for permission to speak to Caicedo and discuss terms with him?

If the rumors are true about Chelsea reaching out to ManU about McGuire, then all should be good in the world never should anyone question how serious of a club we are

Relax ... there is no way they are that stupid.

Reading now that Colwill wants to join Brighton.  Don't know if this is a regurgitation or if there is something about these sit down talks with Pochettino and then he doesn't feature against Wrexham.

If he wants to leave then we should absolutely move him on, and quickly, as we now need CBs with Fofanas injury as well.

I do question the ambition of wanting to go back to Brighton. Anybody can see that is a bubble that will shortly burst. If you lose the back room team, the star players and, as I suspect, the quality manager, the model is just not sustainable.

I suspect the next batch of overpriced sales will actually prove to be no more than average after initial purple patches and the bubble will burst. When the Scouse and Citeh are sniffing, I question the ambition of the guy if that is truly where he wants to go.

Personally I'd ignore what they write in The Athletic and football.london ...  hardly ever any substance behind it, or actual "sources" ....

Think you're probably right tbh.

No one who played at the U21's over summer played against Wrexham.

Pochettino has said he's spoke to Levi and talks went well. Not much else to say on the matter, he's got three years left on his deal. Lets see if he still wants Brighton next summer when they're back where they belong.

My point exactly. As mentioned elsewhere its probably these cr@p social media "journalists" regurgitating old stories or putting 2 and 2 together and getting 5.
