This has to be used as a fcuking wake up call; massive games ahead. f**k the football, more to life than letting this ruin your weekend guys, get out and take your mind off it. Will be back for Madrid. Take it easy!

Wake up call for me maybe. now all I want to do is get drunk and sleep this day off

f**king International breaks ALWAYS mess us up everytime!

Disagree, the team could have played with this much urgency from the start but always chose the tippy tappy pass to death crap early on.

Hate to say it but I fear this is the game that marks the end of this era. Would love to be proven wrong, but I’ve lowered my expectations now to basically zero for the rest of the season and beyond.

This result was gifted to Brentford courtesy of our old friend complacency

Even after a really poor first half, we didn’t change personal or shape till we went behind

Lesson to be learned, play each match individually and stop thinking about what is to come in the future each game carries the same points

A back four with Alonso in is a disaster

An attack with Werner in is toothless

Top four is a real concern if we don’t pick ourselves up

People can blame international break, but we've been poor for weeks. Fortunate to get away with 3 points against Newcastle before the break. Plenty of performances in 2022 alone that proves we've been so inconsistent and poor.

Yep, we have been sh*te for months. One good game against a Tottenham team with a Conte in self sabotage mode, and a good first half against Norwich and good second half against Burnley are the only good performances I have seen in months from us.

Well done Brentford. They wanted it and gave it all for their fans.
If Chelsea players hurry, they can get back to their surrey mansions for Saturday night take away with ant and Dec.

I think this is too pessimistic of a view. It's the one off game where Tuchel can slap some sense into the players. Heck we might even get that breakthrough to restart the winning run

Embarrassing defeat, didn’t deserve to be 1-0 up, then we thought it would be easy just like against West Brom.

Played players who are mentally weak and physically weak today, got what we deserved for taking this match for granted.

Lazy, gutless performance the players didn’t look up for it at all.

Poor decision from Tuchel to play Ruben Mase and Kante none of them particularly good at keeping possession and it showed with the amount of turnovers.

Big response needed against Real in the week.

Nothing to do with the international break, we just don't approach games with the same determination as the other teams. We turn up and just expect a win.

That is a very poor excuse for this sh*t show.

Nope, happens all the time, we get rusty as f**k on return! Completely different team in tatters.

Not excusing it, far from it! In fact, if anything it shows how a bunch of these players are not up for their club at all.

Well, that didn’t go to plan. We got sloppy and were punished. We do this though from time to time so there’s no point getting carried away. Hopefully it’ll be a wake up call for the match against Madrid.

Zeta will have no trouble working out the prediction league points after this.

It's null points all round!

Perhaps someone predicted Rüdiger as first goal scorer?

Harsh to single them out when the whole team was diabolical.

Don't get me wrong, the whole team was a turd sandwich, I just saw those two at the time

OMG - been out all day and came home to a 1-4 drubbing to blimming Brentford !!!!

Heaviest defeat of the season by a country mile.

Must say I've just looked at the starting XI and I'm very surprised TT went with that., but that doesn't excuse a sh*t show from those selected to play !
