It’s like they just ignore the bile spewed at certain players.
Am waiting on Sterling to get booed by his own fans next!!

Could you flag up a few of these "hate" posts as examples? I must have missed them.

Might be worth looking in the Havertz thread too.

No com'on. At least put up one or two examples of these alleged "hate" posts. I don't think you can.

I'm sure there are posts saying he's useless, posts saying he's lazy, even, God forbid, sarcastic posts taking the piss. But "hate"? No don't think so.

Sterling doesn't get any worse treatment on here than Pulisic did, Havertz did, Kovacic did, Ziyech does. Some will rate a certain player, others won't. It's a football forum personal opinions will differ.

Do you really think I am going to go through match day threads to list example.
There is a difference between constructive criticism of any player and bile/hate towards players.

It dawned on me tonight, I don’t think he’s very good! Remember David Luiz would have 3 mistakes, Cucurella would have 5…. And without the flair or passing David had!

A mediocre player that I hope has a good season!

Yeah .. extremely comical when defending.. it’s always last ditch with him..gets sold on every dummy and weak in tackles..

forward play is also very limited.. what convinced us to pay 70 mil for him I would never know. Very kepa level player for him.. good player for bottom half but 2nd or 3rd choice with a club like us.

I hope our negotiating team offer him back to Brighton as part of the Caicedo deal.

I'm fairly certain if that were the case then Caicedo would become even more expensive!

Cucurella was the Brighton POTY the season before we brought him. Think they would be interested in taking him back.

He is not very good when defending, not aware of his surroundings and rushes too much, but last night he had some good forward play, and one very good assist for Jackson’s goal. I don’t think he was nowhere as bad as some say here. Maybe he can improve his defending under Pochetino?

I'm not just saying it because of the goal but when he plays under Pochettino he should invert into the midfield when we have possesion.

A Tuchel master stroke. All the signings made by him last summer are all busts. That is just ridiculous.

You really think he hand picked them? I don't. I think he gave the club the green light to go and sign them, but I think it's pretty clear at this point that he never went out and picked players for the club to sign himself. Isn't this the biggest reason why he's not still Chelsea manager? They wanted him to be involved in all of it, but he wasn't interested. He just wanted to focus on coaching.

This guy is what, our 4th best LB? Our 5/6th best CB? Waste of a squad place. Waste of a signing. Sooner he’s gone the better. Got no defensive mind whatsoever and is only average going forward.

Agreed. He definately didn't pick all of the players.

With Cucu it was probably Boehly. After all he was the one that made a statement when signing him - something in line with Cucu "being an elite defender".
- He wasn't and isn't.

It becomes clearer that that tactics of Brighton shielded his mistakes due to other players covering when going in a high press.

Furthermore their playing style primarily had him playing as a left midfielder. Not sure if he was decent when playing LCB for them.

In recent weeks I've had a feeling that he could be worth keeping. That he'd probably redeem himself.

But oh my... These mistakes comes way too often. He could turn out costing crucial points.
