It's just a red. It's amazing how some pundits are confusing the issue. It's a red. All day long. As clear as day. It's as bad as clocking someone in the face or a head butt.

Same as the offside. It's offside. Richarlison is interfering with play. No question about it.

Thems the breaks I guess. It's sh*t but just how it is.

The offside thing interested me the most. He says Mendy could see the ball... So if Richarlison Kane and Son stood offside in front of him, and Mendy had to move half way to the corner flag to see the ball, it's not interfering with play? Madness

I’m amazed clubs haven’t started legal action against the refs or league over these decisions. We’ve lost two points and they’ve admitted it’s because they failed to use VAR. If we miss out on fourth by a point or two then the financial repercussions would be huge.

Richarlison also made a movement towards the ball, that alone would make him offside never mind him blocking Mendy's view.

What Mike Dean didn't say was why he didn't call AT for the review - because he wants Spurs to score the goal and happily let the incident go. The more we look at it, it's more obvious it's cheating, match fixing and corruption.

Imagine a scenario we finish 2nd, 1 point behind City.

Take your apology and f**k off from officiating you melt.

He didn’t apologise, he just gave an explanation of what he should have done in hindsight. Don’t hold your breath for an apology from that arrogant tw*t.

Its a poor excuse from Dean but nevertheless it is an admission of wrong although not an apology. That is all we are going to get and lets face it humans do make mistakes. Even when they have time to think about them. Perhaps it was malicious that is also possible but I prefer the simple answer of he just got it wrong. Like I say put your hand up if you have never made a mistake. I doubt if we will get Taylor reffing us again anytime soon.

This has been the standard of English referees for a while now.

Also really appreciate my phone have a mid-life crisis with ads randomly causing me to click send instead of something else and submitting an incomplete thought and sentence into the thread. Although — more than likely — it would be on point with how I post, and no one would be the wiser

They used this graphic to show Mendy had a clear view of the shot, Jenas concluded Richarlison was not interfering.

What a load of bollocks that is. That doesn't prove anything.

The triangle should be the other way around, pointing at the ball, with the other two corners of the triangle on the goal posts, anyone offside in that triangle is interfering with play by blocking part of the view of the ball from the goal line, dictating where the keeper has to stand to view the ball.

They are thick as sh*t these officials and studio pundits, get some mathematicians in there ffs, instead of letting ex-players f**k around with touchscreen tech, they can't even do that properly.

Apologies only come to United and Liverpool. Although there was one none big club that got a few too, who was that, Everton after the none pen call vs Rodri I think.

I always laugh when pundits use graphics like these. They can essentially move it however they want to tell their own story

He only has a clear view because he's already moved to his left in order to see around Richarlison. Even in the still, you can see this, weight on left leg, body angle to left as well. It is the move left that creates the spit second of time and space needed for the shot to beat him at the right post. Richarlison interfering all day long ... it's so obvious that I don't understand why anyone even bothers to argue to the contrary !

Even if at this point you accept that there is no interference which is mad, almost immediately after he strikes the ball

A) The ball is unsighted for a split second directly because of Richarlison.

B) Mendy needs to wait until the ball passes him before he dives.

Why is this important? Because it wasn't a rocket shot or a clean strike. At the time I remember thinking that almost trickled into the bottom corner. And Mendy misses it by a finger nail.

I find it fascinating that some simply decided to blame Jorginho for that goal despite the fact that it was only scored due to the offside, that same shot without Richarlison is easy for Mendy to catch.

I also thought that should have been ruled out for interfering with play and think they are spineless as it was obvious.

Let's not kid ourselves though, Jorginho's failure to clear the ball led to the shooting opportunity.

Come on now... Drop it. It's just a silly mistake losing the ball in that fashion in your own penalty area, no matter the outcome. As the outcome was a goal (no matter whether it should have stood or not), he played his part in us conceding said goal. It's really not that hard.

Yea I know it's a mistake, but the goal itself only came due to the other circumstances so it's really not hard to understand that an illegal goal was scored and given. Mendy saves that shot in all other circumstances. I haven't heard anyone that said that that goal should stand.

Yea. I thought that goal was good as well. James made a horrible decision to head it back.

My problem is Anthony wasn't sent off before he scored. He strangled one of our players and he was on a yellow.
