There's a reason we have a number 9 curse because bar an average Abraham, Mount and Giroud, all our attacking players have been absolutely dire.

Hazard managed to hide the problem but whether it's Willian, Pedro, Pulisic, Havertz, Lukaku, Morata, Werner, Ziyech, the problem exists and it exists deep within the club.

The club clearly has a problem in attacking recruitment. Can't remember any striker or forward that has made an impact at the club since Costa left.

I said this last week. There’s no way this squad isn’t good enough to be steamrolling games like this. Conte would have this mob competing for the title.

Mendy - 4 - Could have done better with their goal, panics from every corner. The opposition target him now and fire every set piece right on top of him because they know he can't cope.

Azpilicueta - 3 - Legs have gone, should never play in a back 4 again.

Silva - 7 - The only player with any quality. Saves Mendy time and time again because Mendy can't deal with set pieces. Also made a great goal line clearance.

Koulibaly - 4 - I know it's early, but no way is this guy an upgrade on Rudiger. I thought he would be a lot stronger from set pieces, but he just bumps into our own players. Seems like a lazy defender too.

Cucurella - 3 - Worst performance so far. Attacking and defending was terrible. He was all over the place.

Jorginho - 3 - Play him DM in a back 4 formation and you're asking for trouble. Bullied again.

Loftus-Cheek - 4 - Has no intensity.

Mount - 4 - Some good moments before the goal, but after the goal, he was terrible.

Ziyech - 3 - Rubbish, offered nothing.

Havertz - 2 - Lazy and I am fed with it. Can't stay onside, sh*t finishing, sh*t passing, just sh*t all over.

Sterling - 5 - Got a goal, but was largely frustrating throughout.

Subs.

Kovacic - 6 - Tried to get the ball moving, but everybody in front of him was terrible.

Broja - 6 - Offered more than Havertz a few seconds after coming on.

Pulisic - 3 - Could barely control the ball.

Chilwell - 5 - The game was already dead.

Shocking performance. Another abysmal display both offensively and defensively. Those changes Tuchel did had no inspiration at all. Broja should have come on earlier imo but we got dominated in both halves. Worrying. I barely recall us going behind in the league and Tuchel turning it around. There is so many games we go behind to end up losing and looking clueless. Another Leeds performance. Credit where credit is due. Southampton were good. Adams bullied us all evening. Lavia, that kid they got from City is a talent and the Bella-Kotchap guy at the back is a top defender. He impressed me against United too. Only 20. Will be a star. He bossed our attack, whole game.

Away at Everton, lucky win by 1 goal a Jorgi pen special 

Home vs Spuds, draw, we showed up better - VAR robbed us but we still should of not conceded at the death

Away to Leeds - got battered 3-0

Home to an awful Leicester - held on for a 2-1 win thanks to Raheem's brace otherwise we draw or lose

Today at Soton - go ahead the fold like a cheap deck of cards, team selection, formation & subs again wrong by TT

Like I said earlier he has a good winning % as CFC coach but watching this bollox every week, transition season or not , is not that exciting of a prospect is it and we've already spent 200 mill LOL, season breaks halfway through in another 3 months roll on Qatar then !

Any other Epl level DM that goal doesn’t happen.. he is an utter liability in epl.. costs us season after season.. Lamps did the right thing by dumping him..

I don't blame Tuchel for the midfield. We haven't upgraded that midfield since it was showing signs of deteriation. How many times have people questioned Jorginho's ability or Kante's age/fitness. It's been obvious for a while and the then board did nothing about it. Even under Conte it was supposed to be upgraded with Bakayoko, Drinkwater and Barkley ffs. 

I look forward to every game we play and after playing well for 20 minutes it goes to sh*t every single time. The mentality of these players is massively fragile but Tuchel playing these same gobsh*te players every game is taking us backwards. We need a massive improvement very very soon otherwise he's gonna be on thin ice  

 if TT thought we were the better team at Leeds he must be overjoyed tonight

Simple really, cos they are all clones of the same bloke. And that bloke is a seven stone weakling that thinks he is so far technically advanced than anyone else that he doesn't have to run off the ball or tackle and can just dribble, fall to the floor, kick the ball pointlessly at a wall of legs, fall to the floor, pass sideways, pass backwards, fall to the floor

Pulisic, ziyech, Havertz, weak as pi$$. We class Mount as our main man. 7 stone soaking wet and disappears all too routinely now.

I am disgusted with the lack of application from this bunch. Of course if its not a case of a lack of application we have to acknowledge a difficult truth. This lot are just not good enough... management down.

It is one thing to lose a game from a winning position. But once we went behind we never looked like scoring again. Despite a ton of possession the last 20 mins or so we created no real chances of note. We don't look like a team at the moment. Just a collection of individuals.

He's been sh*t the past 3 seasons, he can't stay fit. When he gets back on the pitch, his lack of match fitness shows and then he gets injured again. He's not carrying us, he is part of the problem. It's not his fault, but it is what it is.

Could of played until midnight and we still wouldn’t of scored.

There is no way we was gonna turn round a 1 goal deficit to win , once they scored just before halftime the best I was hoping for was a 2-2 draw.

Ziyech and Pulisic are literally trying to engineer moves away from Chelsea so that effectively playing with 9 players.

You can’t win football matches in the EPL with only 9 players - it was madness picking them.

It looked like the players had about 15 minutes on that terrible pitch and couldn’t be bothered afterwards.

Already 5 points behind Arsenal and they have a game in hand - this is a really poor start to the season.

We still haven’t got the players to turn a 1-0 lead into a comfortable lead, if we don’t keep a clean sheet there’s a good chance we don’t win.

That is the sad reality.
