We was last year and they were missing for a large part of the season

Needs to bin the back 3. I have a sneaky feeling we will panick buy a CF in Jan which will further emphasise that even though we are under a new regime, things stay the same. We have enough with Aubameyang, Havertz, and with Sterling up top in the right system to be OK till the summer. Priority should be fixing the creativity especially on the RW in the interim. Common sense approach would be to promote Hutchinson to the 1st team full time to challenge Ziyech, an observe if he can make step up over the next 5 months and save us £ms in the market. But we never do common sense.

Very hard to predictable what the team will be in like about 2 weeks time, but one thing for sure we can't use the world cup as an excuse for not showing up. Only 2 of our players made into this week, our English lads barely played since the knock out stage, Silva could get the first game off but after that it's fair game. If anything the word cup came at the perfect time for us, let's hope the coaching staff and players worked hard through this period.

WBs should be ok as no WC.

Kova will he still have an injury?

Silva should be ok too.

Forwards should be fine too.

Crucial thing is how many days they get together before the next match.

I'd personally want us to steer away from 5 at the back.

The unforgivable part about Lukaku is it was so obvious.

I can forgive poor transfers that should have worked on paper ala Werner, Ziyech or even Kepa but that was so obvious a flop from the start.

Lukaku is a record signing who compared himself favourably against Benzema. Then add what he took away from a UCL winning system, an ego that makes Carlos Tevez look humble and the fact he got/gave himself the type of workrate excemptions I've only ever seen Zola and Hazard given in my whole time of supporting the club. Put them all together and frankly he has to be held to much higher standards than an academy player or a £30m signing from the Dutch league. Infact in my eyes a similar level of substance to the two afore-mentioned above is minimum requirement if god for bid he gets another chance.

Again with this cherrypicking of stats. Lukaku is never this striker you paint in your head. 

He is the worst flat-track bully ever. He generally scores against teams that have given up. He will have exceptional days but 90% of the time he's sh*t against top footballers

Another 200M, easy money for Brighton

I am expecting a much better second half to the season. I will give Potter some slack due to the injuries but then last few games against Newcastle, Arsenal etc were painful. No belief in the team. 
 

We shouldn’t be in 9th at all. That is a disgrace and getting top 4 shouldn’t be considered an achievement for us. We’ve only missed it once in recent years. 
 

This is where Potter earns his money.
