Realistically can’t rebuild in an entire window but my hope is we invest heavy and build a stable foundation in midfield.

Which signing was garbage? We needed those players after the departure of Alonso/Emerson (Cucurella), Rudiger (Koulibaly), Werner (Sterling), Christensen (Fofana). Even Zakaria can be seen as the Saul replacement. There is still time for them to do well for us, when Rudiger was first signed it was after Conte was crying for a new defender and he wanted a much more expensive signing but ultimately Rudiger did a crucial role for Tuchel.

Most money spent was really a nessesity. Does that show just how surprisingly average we are well that's another discussion...

The garbage decision was to sign Aubameyang only cause Tuchel wanted him, only to sack Tuchel afterwards but part from that, we needed new players.

Think Enzo, Rice, and Caicedo will be in the region of 250m. 

The club and Potter have got to find a way to reverse the negative energy that’s happening this season. So many injuries, bad cup draws, performances..just everything going wrong.

Better question is which ones won't turn out to be garbage/a colossal waste of money? Yes we needed replacements but we did not need the replacements to be overhyped one season wonders (Cucurella), crocks (Fofana and Zakaria) and retirement home seekers (Koulibaly, Sterling and Auba).

Am hopeful Hutchinson, Carney and Casadei buck this trend. Provided they don't get injured too of course.

All I'm saying is that we don't really know how most of them will turn out to be for us, Alonso and Rudiger were at some point fully gone from any kind of official appearance and then suddenly both managed to do a great job for us.

Whatever Cucurella turns out to be, we simply needed the guy since Chilwell is struggling with injuries, Zakaria is pretty much already a better loaned player than Saul since he scored in his first match, Koulibaly might become a really stable defender for us, if Rudiger could do it why wouldn't Koulibaly do it too it's possible so let's not write them off just yet.

It's depressing checking up on anything Chelsea related of late, it's never ending bad news. Even the confirmation of signing Nkunku hasn't cheered me up seeing as he is injured too, so f**k knows if he will be arriving in top form.

Zakaria was only signed on loan, so I am not including him under the same scrutiny. I am hopeful Fofana will still prove to be a good signing, but we will need a bit of better luck with injuries. I still think Cucurella and Koulibaly will settle in and do well for us. Koulibaly needs to play alongside a quicker defender but he still has some quality. Sterling is harder to predict. He started pretty well but his form really dipped before the World Cup. Of all our signings Auba looks the worst so far, and it is ironic that he was most likely signed for Tuchel when the owners knew he was going to be shown the door. If there is any truth to PSG being interested, we should try to move him on and replace in January.

Well, that seems to be an overly optimistic view of the situation. Yes, we had to get replacements but surely considering the insanely high fees we spent on Cucurella and Fofana there must have been other options. There is something wrong with our scouting. We were chasing Kounde and Raphina heavily and both turned out to be bad signings for Barcelona so far. If it wasn't for Barca's idiotic leadership we would now be stuck with another set of mediocre players bought for insane amounts.

For me is not about where we finish, but  about enduring the effortless, gutless, clueless football that we have seen so far this season (including Tuchel’s period) when paying north of £50. I know, it’s not compulsory to go to the matches, but we still do in the hope that we will at least see some kind of effort and entertainment. I was not really complaining about losing points against Burnley last season as the team played well, but travelling to Leeds or Southampton or Brentford or Newcastle to see a team not caring too much is annoying and we’ve the right to complain about the performance. We’re customers after all and, if you went to a restaurant and you were served unedible food you’d have the right to complain, why should this be different?

Todd Bully does appear to be an uncouth American owner but he's the owner and at least he's splashed some cash, albeit wastefully per some posters. So this transition season was always going to be challenging, my advice is to sit back watch the matches, cheer on the club and don't get upset about any of it. In fact put yourself in Bournemouth's position all they've ever won is promotions........then imagine our trophy haul of the last 25 years, even with GP as manager it isn't so depressing after all is it ?

I do agree. The manner of the performances against Arsenal and Newcastle was awful. Completely unacceptable.

I think he has literally retired from Football and politics - however you can never keep the fox from the hen house for too long, I am sure he will be back, be warned !
