So basically what you did to Tuchel when he replaced Lampard?

No.

Firstly, saying Tuchel shouldnt have gone is different to saying he should come back. Why would he want to, we treated him shamelessly given how he navigated last season.

Secondly, nothing would be better than see Potter magically transform into pep or klopp. Its however never going to happen. So people talking a liverpool or city model are kidding themselves.

What irks me is we then agreed to a 5 year deal and tied our hands behind our backs going forwards. If your happy with top 10 for exciting football or and english manager then good luck to you but the rest of us who are not will continue to point out the failings, and right now its not players alone if indeed its the players at all.

Potter Out.

Let's be real - the players are sh*t. We've got 2 top quality players - Silva and James. The rest are sh*t bordering on average. We've spent about 1 billion pounds and accumulated a team of  injury-prone, weak-minded, technically poor players. The football under Tuchel last 12 months are garbage as well. But this is a whole new level.  We've turned into an absolute laughing stock, who can't do anything well whatsoever. Every game is more pathetic than the last, with 0 signs of anything improving. I watch these players and it's like 11 individuals, no-one has any idea what they should be doing. I don't know who the answer is to solve the question of this garbage squad. But Potter and his low-table mentality and tactics, isn't it. We will be lucky to finish top 10 at this rate.

So who can get those sh*t players going? And when?

Yes the players are sh*te but let's sack the manager. Jesus.

No one is going to turn this team into title winners. We need a new team. And stability. Let's see where we are in 12 or even 18 months.

I hate watching us play. But it's the players, all of whom other than Mount, Silva and James have never consistently performed for us, who are the reason.

Klopp and Pep didn't magically transform their squads into PL champions, Potter won't do it either.

I can't see Potter turning youngsters into stars, at least not yet, so just like other teams we'll have to spend money in January and then 200m in the summer and then once again the next summer another 200m, then if Potter fails to deliver it will mean that the people higher up overrated his abilities. If that's the plan, to have 1 long term manager in Potter, that's the minimal you got to give him.

Arsenal was average for many seasons and now suddenly they're above Man City, is Arteta this big manager like Klopp and Pep or did he finally get lucky?

Even though this team clearly isn't good enough for top 4, we shouldn't be playing this poorly.

I don't even think Potter that bad of a manager, but the football we're seeing is making Tuchel look like an incredible manager.

If we were going to do a long term project with a manager completely unproven at top level we might as well have stuck with Frank Lampard, at least he was a club legend. Why should we offer Potter so much time?

More pain, chronic pain.

Three league defeats in a row for only the second time this century.

Five successive Premier League games without a win for the first time since 2012.

Outside the Premier League top four on Christmas Day for the third time in 21 seasons.

We're arguably playing just a bad as when Lampard was sacked

Dear Mr Potter,

Please explain to the fans of Chelsea FC,who don't understand anything about football, what is this big plan of yours behind all this horrible performance we have put on in the last several games.

Lampard couldnt sort the defence out, but we were playing good football going forward, creating chances and scoring goals.

Yeah exactly, here there's no attack and no defence either, we aren't even tough to beat anymore

Im going to give him a little bit of rope because of the UCL and to an extent City performances all of which I liked.

But my god when we returns after the WC there absolutely has to be a chance in the league performances.

Before lockdown yes but after we came back the football was horrific.

I myself don't know why was he the person for that role.

I understand that he isn't a bad manager but like you say, there doesn't seem to be any hints of why he would be the first name coming out of the new owners lips when talking about us having a long term manager.

It's not like I have anything against Potter either, but right now I just don't see how he's the right person for us since there are levels at this job, it's one thing to make Brighton a stable PL team, it's a totally different job to fight for titles. I know that it wasn't hard for Roman to know that getting someone like Mourinho that just won everything with freaking Porto would be a good decision, but can't help to feel that the new owners overestimated just how good Potter is.

I say this cause hasn't been a domestic PL manager that went from a smaller team to a bigger one and made it great, last person that did that was Alex Ferguson? Wenger came from God knows where to Arsenal and the rest that had success are basically from other countries.

Right now I can't say what makes Potter special, maybe in 6 months it will all be clear.

You probably can't get them going with any coach, but a good coach would at least steady things a bit and make them competitive. Under Potter, it's just free fall.

Just feels like we've hired another Nuno, except Potter was hyped through the roof by the media.
