I don't know whether to be confidence or not but if we play the same way as we play against Zagreb, we probably will lose this game.

Whenever I feel positive - which isn't often - I only have to read match chat threads for a reality check to save myself from crushing disappointment. Thanks guys

As far as I'm concerned, as from today we need to stop the crap from before,and grab a convincing win.

Match day!! Nerves building. Please just have our best players in their best positions and no attackers in wing backs - turns out we have world class wingbacks anyway!

Why am I not being negative? I always hope we can win and so ‘kick start’ a run of wins. The confidence amongst players individually and collectively rises.

I am old enough to remember us being relegated on three occasions. Towards the end of 1982/83 we faced the real prospect of relegation to the old Division 3. Thanks again to Clive Walker for that winning goal at Bolton on 7th May 1983.

To put it into perspective. Shrewsbury Town,Cambridge Utd and Carlisle Utd all finished higher than us that season.

What we have today for the club and team are expectations that were mere dreams back then.

That could be 4-3-3, or according to PL app, 3-5-2 with Sterling wing back again 

reality is the formation is dynamic / fluid. I do prefer Kai playing off a striker. We need goals, and fortunately there are 6 in that side that can score (Auba, Kai, Mount, Sterling, Reece and Chilly). Feels more positive that a TT selection.

I dont like our attacking options on the bench but ambitious line up from Potter.

Palace's line up is very interesting as well

Think it’s a 3-5-2; but I bet you ask Potter he will say it’s a 4-3-3 defending, and 3-5-2/3-4-3 going forward.

Would like to have seen Broja in the starting line up ... expecting 75 minutes of mediocrity followed by 15 minutes (plus stoppage time) of the team that hindsight will say should have started 🙂
