never shown his true potential playing with this sh*te all season...give him another year playing with a decent manager.

PS. Haven't been on here because of these stupid f**king Ads...even though my Ad Blocker was turned off still wouldn't let me in..not putting up with this sh*t and making a $ contribution on occasion.

I just thought it was my old MacBook playing up, its impossible to post sometimes..

That Danilo at Forest. 11 appearances 3 goals. Felix 14 and 3. I really liked him when he first arrived and he has undoubted sublime skills.  But that Danilo was 16m. Does Felix really offer that much more

No, it would be a bigger waste of money than Lukaku.

With Nkunku coming in we shouldn't even flirt with the idea of bringing him back next season.

Have to agree. I loved him at first but it all went downhill from the first couple of good games. Not sure about Nkunku either to be honest. Another player that has no real position and seems hard to implement.

I'm not sure where Nkunku fits in either. In the BL he floats between midfield and across the front. He's 5'9".

Obvious role for him is that '10' in a 4231 that Pochettino used to have Alli operate in, far better footballer than Alli and just as proficient

Good thinking. The "1" up front remaining the riddle.

Wouldn't surprise me to see Lukaku back in for pre-season. Hoping Broja is fit for the start of the season. I'd rather have a year making do with Broja than just chuck £100m at Osimhen and hope he fits, that's one position we need to get right.

Joao Felix’s PR team must be the greatest in history.  How does such an average player maintain this mythical level of perceived talent for so many years?  Todd should sign them rather than the player, we might be able to convince someone Hudson Odoi is a World class talent and pay £100m.  What has the lad done to gain so much applause and adulation.  I understand the young player hype the £100m transfer, but somewhere down the line this hype fades and everyone realises he’s not as good as they first thought but this guys marketing has continued even though he constantly flatters to deceive.

There was a video on some social media platform that showed a young kid in awe of the players in the tunnel before the Madrid game.  He was shouting out there names in amazement, but the part that made me laugh was when Felix turned out he said ‘wow there’s Joao Felix he’s a 95 on Fifa’.  I’ve not played Fifa for years but 95 was reserved for a couple of the best players in the world.

Do us all a favour Todd thank the lad for his service and send him on his way.  We have enough overhyped, overpaid, none events to get rid of without adding another.

I saw that video too, did make me laugh. That's the problem with the young fans these days, they'll see a player has 5* skills on the game and think that translates into real life. They don't watch the game for the sport anymore.

Thats why we end up with so many weirdo fans who just support one player rather than a team, and lose their minds when they dont get picked. Its very odd, based on FIFA and Football Manager video games.

I personally think Felix would have done much better if Tuchel stayed. Tuchel like this floating 10, jack of all trade master of none type of player.

Tuchel also liked players that work hard for the team and sacrifice their own glory for the good of the team. The hardest Felix ever works is swinging his legs out of bed in the morning to go for a piss.

I think a lot of fans have been too harsh on him. He's not been at his best, but face facts, he's the only attacking player in our entire team who looks capable of producing a bit of quality. Can anybody seriously say there is a single attacking player in our team that is better than him right now? The way some talk, you would think he has been another Saul. If anything, what I have seen of Felix is what I was hoping to see from all of the other January signings. Most January signings that turn out to be good signings in the long run are a mixed bag to begin with, and that is what Felix has been.

He also shows desire which has been something rare in this team

I had a feeling he would go on a nice run of games towards the end of the season which would make people consider keeping him.

I have no ill will to Felix, he seems to actually want to play for us although I don't know much of that is due to him being effectively told he has no future at Atletico. Also to his credit he has tried his best and probably would be our top scorer to be honest if all his shots that hit the post went in.

He is clearly a talented player but in the situation we are in now we simply don't need a luxury player like him in the squad. Especially not for the fee and wages he will command.

Really hope he is here next season.

I do too. From a creative perspective he is a class above every other player in our squad (that said, so is Morph with finger paints).  He might be considered an unnecessary  luxury player when the majority of the squad look like headless chickens but, in a balanced squad, he is a far more valuable asset than the likes of Pulisic, Ziyech and  Havertz.

I can see it being another year loan with an obligation to pay at the end of it which makes sense for all parties. As the last few posts have mentioned above, he is a very classy player and we haven't seen anywhere near the best of him yet in a chelsea shirt. He came into utter chaos and still somehow ended up being our top scorer since he came in, and even if you take away all the goals he is still one of the best players on the pitch.

Once we sort the squad out and sell the deadwood, get a proper manager in and play attacking football I think we will definitely see the best of him. He is our franchise player if it all goes well

I like him as a player, even though I do think he's a luxury player who would do far better with better players around him. The only thing is, he'll cost a fortune, and I think that's what's putting people off when the money could be better spent elsewhere.

Still, I think there's this weird resentment towards him from many of our fans on here, if anything he's probably been our best attacker this season. The stats might not show it but he's looked head and shoulders above everybody else when he has played.
