The warnings of this sh*tshow season were there much earlier than that too. We looked a total mess in pre-season culminating in an embarassing hammering by Arsenal.

They were there last season. People just didn't want to admit it, but our results were not very good from January onwards. It was fortunate that other teams were having terrible seasons because it saved us in getting top four.

We need severe work in the summer and, somehow, we managed to make the team worse.

Southgate sh*ts over both of them as he’s the only one that benches Mount.

Who would you bench Mount for? Plus, if it wasn't for him, we probably wouldn't have scored tonight.

Player quality is only the issue when we're against a top 3-4 side.

We keep getting steamrolled by sides with lesser player quality than us.

That is the manager. And the higherups. Something is rotten. Smells like buttfungus.

Nothing to do with having to play the reserves and then having to play with 10 men then?

You know your in trouble when you play a back 5 and 4 can’t defend plus a sh*t keeper

Felix looked good but what a silly challenge , deserved red

Midfield is awful at present…Kovacic in particular isn’t playing well

The Right Back situation is becoming a joke…Azpi is no longer upto it( we knew this 18 months ago)!
THIS SIDE ISN’T TOO GOOD TO GO DOWN!

No doubt there will be the normal Potter out frothing at the mouth after that but, for me, tonight is not on Potter. Don't think he got much wrong. This one is on the players. Awful defending for the first, awful goalkeeping for the second. Stupidity by Felix for the red and yet another piss poor performance by Kovacic, Koulibaly, Mount, Chalobah, and Havertz.

Then Jorginho and Ziyech came on and you knew it was playing with 8 men time.

Chukuwuemka has to get a decent run now and I think the criticism of Hall was over the top tonight. Yes he lost the ball which eventually resulted in the opener but I felt he, along with Felix, was the only player who was trying to create anything when we had 11 men. I'd stick with him ahead of Cucurella.

Really hope Zakaria has only suffered a tweak because he is head and shoulders ahead of Jorginho for the rest of the season.

When players across the board aren't playing up to their abilities, that's on the manager.

Otherwise WTF does a manager do? He maximizes the players he has. It's not one player having a poor match. It's player after player match after match.

Certain players on care about social media and their followers and sh*t.

The days of having players care for the club like JT etc are over.

Wouldn't be as offensive? We were one of the best teams in the league in terms of chances created under Tuchel, under Potter we're not one of the worst. When we couldn't score under Tuchel he got the blame, yet now we're even worse under Potter yet it's only the player's fault,

Exactly. Imagine if Tuchel had had a half decent striker in his team. Thats a frightening prospect. He won the champions league with Havertz and Werner up front! No other manager does that…none!

we are paying them 15m to play for 5 months

he is now missing another 3 games+40 mins of this game

and we have to pay the full fee regardless

tell me how this is a good deal

How could boehly have possibly known he would get sent off. We have paid out bigger money for more sh*t than this before. Watch us give Barcelona Aubameyang back having given them 15m for him.

Kepa - 4 - Another costly mistake to lose us the game

Hall - 4 - All over the place defensively. Also missed a good chance to score early in the game.

Koulibaly - 4 - Continues to be sh*te.

Silva - 7 - The only good player surrounded by a sea of sh*te

Chalobah - 3 - Possibly his worst game in a Chelsea shirt.

Azpilicueta - 4 - Can't run. Just looks rushed in everything he does now.

Zakaria - 6 - Decent before getting injured.

Kovacic - 4 - All of that dribbling, but can't play a single good forward ball.

Mount - 4 - Awful, apart from the freekick for our goal. f**k knows if he meant it though.

Felix - 4 - Played well, but stupidly got himself sent off when we were on top.

Havertz - 3 - sh*t attitude, sh*t work ethic, sh*t player.

Subs:

Never going to change anything from the position we were in.

That's the thing. I didn't want Tuchel sacked, but hindsight is a wonderful thing. Tuchel was moaning  last season about a couple  injuries so not sure how he would have done.

I think sacking him was a mistake too, he was simply suffering from one of the issues Potter has - average team, unfortunately for Potter its gotten even worse because none of our best players are even playing AND now it seems we can't seem to finish a game with 11 men!

Tuchel was doing little better with a healthier squad. The make up of the squad is wrong, not in terms of talent but mentality. Potter actually referred to it yesterday - who are the leaders in the squad? To succeed, there needs to be a mix. We do not have that - just a load of followers.

Agree with all that Loz. Two massive turning points in that second half. The injury to Zakaria and the sending off, (justified it has to be said), of Felix. We were looking good up until those incidents.

I wonder why one of our 'better' players on the night gets injured and another of our 'better' players on the night gets sent off!  Potter is cursed I tell yer - cursed!
