Why are we even discussing Lukaku when the guy can't even keep his fitness in Italy? Of course injuries are part of the game but the guy will be 30 next season coming from two seasons barely playing and being near to awful whenever he did.

Should be sent wherever Conte ends up next season and we move forward as we seem to be doing during Boehly's regime, at least as far as player/staff movement is concerned.

We are going around and around. bad result more injury’s start to training more bad result.

Even an unmotivated Lukaku would be banging in goals with these players behind him. He had far inferior creators and still bagged a few last season.

By that logic he should have been better with us and United than he was at Everton.

I’ve expressed some v negative views about our whole current set-up. I’m still no fan of either the owners or Potter. That said, not for sacking either. Apart from the fact it’s not gonna happen, I think we’re seeing “Green shoots” last couple of games. Still lacking goals, which I get is crucial. But just a matter of time imo. Maybe we end this hoodoo with a goal fest?

People wondered where goals were going to come from when Tuchel arrived too. Then lots of players chipped in. Why can’t we have the same again? Lots of players who can score.  We were mighty unlucky in last two games.

65 of you wanted him to stay. I wonder how many are left. And of those left, how many need some psychiatric help.

Most of needed help even pre-Potter!

I need to let today's result sink in, and hope for good news on Azpi.

New rule. Every time....

anybody says we are missing Lukaku before mentioning Werner ---> Potter´s contract gets extend a month, two months if you are not related to Lukaku or Belgian.

Lol my attempt at optimism didn’t last long. I have bigger worries than Potter as I just wrote in a (probably already too long) post in another Potter thread (there are so many!)

A higher percentage than that I think. Probably only @TimesUpPotterand @OriginalSvoting for him to stay.

Even myself, @axman2526and @bisright1 are on the fence now.

I was on the fence before today, I just cant see enough positives. Very few glimpses of what Potter could achieve given time, and for me, I think you have to earn time, with positive performances and results. Potter hasnt done that, the players looked lost, the crowd has turned. I would be very surprised if the board arent sounding out replacements. Spurs, Leeds, and Dortmund up next too.

I like to think I am being positive about Graham, I am trying and so are you Just.

But I have to admit I cannot match @TimesUpPotterand @OriginalSfor their dedication to Potter. They would clearly crawl on broke  glass while chewing on wasps for the man.

Only reason I'm on the fence is I think it sets a better tone to sack him in May.

Also if he turns it around now and becomes the title winning manager the investment deserves it will feel as big a shock as Leicester winning the league. I do like a gamble.

This is the first time I've seen you make a post that didn't mention Jorginho.

I'm proud of your progress.

I know little steps. Hopefully you stick around after Potter goes but I won't be betting on money on that.

Maybe you might come back as TimesUpCucurella.

Can't disagree with any of that BB.

The only problem with sacking him in May is that the last 3 months of the season will be absolutely toxic, especially at home, unless there's a miraculous turnaround.

Let’s be real - where on earth is this acceptable. Spent an evening with Saints fans laughing at us.

no coming back for me. He has to go Monday. Absolutely woeful coach - gutless leader. I wish him well but so far out of his depth it is embarrassing.

I've realised why your support for Potter has finally started to waver.

with Jorginho having left and Cucurella not being in the squad today you've ran out of scapegoats and have finally been forced to confront the unfortunate reality that our manager just isn't very good at winning football matches or coaching his teams towards the opposition goal.
