Bakayoko vs Watford level of performance last night.

I dont rate him tbh. Even when he does show up and plays with confidence, he us very predictable with hardly any end product. Looks like the sort of player that would have a good Palace career.

All 3 wide players are pretty awful. I think that is the biggest miss we have had in market.

Sterling big ticket signing that flatters to deceive.

I heard someone say Mudryk would dribble into mannequins, which I think accurately sums him up.

Would us to stumble on a Diaz or a Trossard type signing. Players that can be relied on to make things happen and cause some danger in the final 3rd, without gambling massive money on them.

I think we've landed a player of those characteristics in Palmer, when he's not played as a false 9. He can make things happen, I haven't seen a player so exciting since Hazard, to be honest.

A lot of these players need a loan really. They aren't ready to jump into Chelsea. Hence why we're 10th. One can only hope that they gain the experienced needed over the next year or so and improve.

You don't play for Pens for 30 minutes AND sub on Noni and Mudryk. Those two things don't go together.

Not sure what Poch was really saying, had the players lost all belief cause we could not score in the last 20 minutes?

Dreadful cameo. Ruined every attack he got involved in.

Send him out on loan, will never get the run of games he needs here.

More involved and offered way more threat than Sterling.

Made extremely poor decisions everytime he had the ball especially on the break..

I've seen a lot of wide players with bad decision making but Noni is the only winger I've ever seen who's first instinct when he has a bit of space near the edge of the box is to smash it 40 yards back to the fullback or centre back on the half way line.

Yeah coz that's exactly what he does.

Initially thought it took a deflection, wonder goal that.

I really want to him to succeed and do well cause it's always nice to have a dribbler but he's just lacking so much basics. Having said, he can't do worse than Sterling at the moment so might as well give him a run of games.

Noni can look great one game and a championship player the next.

In fairness Sterling can look like a championship player one week and the Pear and Partidge sub the next.

It's a well made point though.  We are 'blessed' with too many players who, like Madueke today, can come off the bench and make a clear claim to start then, when they do, disappoint massively.

Yes - inconsistency is a big problem, albeit par for the course at our current level of inexperience.

The good thing is that there is clearly a level of talent that can developed across most of the squad !

Great goal, but I'm yet to be convinced he's what we need.

And I'm yet to be convinced that he doesn't deserve a decent run of games. I say again, he does far more good things than bad. His goal today was a genuine goal of the season contender. The run, the physical power, the finish.

Madueke, Mudryk and Chucky should all be used by Poch far more often than they are.

Good goal today.

should go a way towards us hopefully recouping most of what we paid for him this summer.

sh*t result for Tottenham at the weekend. Looks like your lot are Spursying it up again.

Just look at the minutes Madueke has played compared to everyone else in this list, and he's got 5 goals this season which is impressive.

What concerns me is if the kid doesn't score or grab an assist right off the bat he gets subbed off, whereas other players can put in average performances and stay the full 90 every single time. I don't think him and Mudryk are getting fair treatment. It's time we start giving these two more of a chance before the season runs out. Plenty of games to play, Sterling isn't cutting the mustard anymore he needs benching.

Come on Poch, yesterday's game couldn't have been a bigger message to you that we need to change it up a bit.
