Congratulations to Brighton, can’t knock them at all especially as it should have been more.

As regards us, you wanted change, you got what you wanted now you’re crying about the change.

We've got what 'some' wanted, its square 1, this time though we can't outbid our opponents, we have to get back to the top the 'old fashioned way', something we failed to do for nearly all of our first 95 years or so of our existence (with exception of 55 and the late 60's early 70's boys).

He’s truly elite.

I hope he can get them past United in the FA Cup semi next week. He should do I think, United are racking up the injury count ATM.

Only losing 2-1 actually feels like some sort of victory LOL, especially given the likely xG score 🙂

Kepa and Gallagher the only starters to come out of that with any credit today.

One dead game out of the way ... seven to go !

Roll on Tuesday's embarrassment ...

I thought Mudryk was good too. Definitely WAY better than Felix, Ziyech, Pulisic and Sterling.

Don't be fooled mate, the next 20 minutes after the subs (specially the first 10) have been atrocious, the only reason the team got some attacking momentum during the last quarter of the game is because Brighton already had exhausted two of their windows because of early injuries and many of their players were very tired and at the limit of their physical capabilities.

Brighton is playing fantastic football, you don't just stop them but it was  obvious we played much better after the sub.

Mitoma impact was very different after James + Ziyech came in. We should have lost by 5 in the 1st half, I can't say the same thing in the 2nd half. I also thought our pressing was much better when Mount came on.

The ending of Spuds and Cherries is all that is right with football.

Richarlison misses a sitter, B'Mouth go on and get the winner. I think Bournemouth will finish above us.

Of course nobody outside the club really knows what's going on inside but it appears to me that the whole backroom team from the players and coaching staff to the sports directors have not taken up the mantle of handed to them by the previous regime. Top to bottom in disarray.

Boehly has changed everything all at once and he knows nothing about how to run a top English Premier league club. If he wanted to change everything he should have done it gradually making good use of the things that were already in place. His model of doing things has failed miserably and a way back is hard to see.

I think the disjointed and confidence lacking performances we are seeing are probably symbolic of how everybody at the club feels.

It's long way back from this.

We were lucky it was only 1-2 and twice as lucky to get the goal.

Good team Brighton, all working together... not like us 😞

I thought Mudryk was a breath of fresh air...

There seems to be a big gap between our defense and attack...

Anyway, "The boys gave everything"... till Weds then ::ChELSeAFaN::

Another good day for Roy Hodgson

The interim tea lady is surely the next big appointment to get right.

Why should we when the players clearly don't give a toss.

This isn't losing when giving an effort..this is losing because the players can't be arsed.

I won't stand for that and we should be allowed to make that judgment for ourselves without the old "not a true fan" rubbish either.

This isn't my Chelsea, not even close. Not 1 player out there put in a solid shift for effort. It's criminal

Are you serious ?
you have Chelsea Your user name ! you are supporting Chelsea not a bunch of players, they will be all left by the time your 18

Worry for me is this isn't going to be a easy fix, this will cost us the next 2 seasons at the minimum.

We have a squad full of over paid charlatans who couldn't care less about Chelsea. We have spent a fortune in assembling the worst group of footballers I have ever seen play together.

Will be years to get rid of them and we won't exactly have the funds to do it all again which is sadly what is needed as this squad is a abysmal.

Remember when Lukaku was our biggest issue...oh take me back to those days

Honestly, I think it will take a pre-season with a top coach and a couple of games. We know alot of these players are more than capable with the right set up.

It's easy to blame the players out there but you can see that they did not how to cope with Brighton today and that is on our coaching staff. We have the talent and its up to the staff to set them up correctly and get the best out of them. You don't do that in modern football by just saying they need to know how to play for the badge. Its short sighted.

Sterling, Gallagher, Mudryk, Fofana, Cucurella were all top players for their clubs last season. They can do it and we have alot of players who won the champions league under Tuchel.

This is not a long term problem and I genuinely believe we are a top class manager and striker away from top 4.

We could not cope with the press and my biggest fear this season is that we are just going to destroy our confidence even more under Frank. If there was a chance to get Enrique in now I would bite your hand off.

Another game, another loss, another poor performance.

Considering the individual calibre of our players, surely our fortunes must change at some point! It's almost as if we have a curse over our club. 😯

And Mason Mount. haha

Lampard is a bad manager, Dyche says hold my beer. 1-3 loss to a weakened Fulham at home. Lampard being a bad manager is so overblown. He's not elite, but he's capable of getting good results.

Unfortunately with this Chelsea side it's too far gone. If we see nothing in the RM game next week, then i give up wathcing us for the rest of the season. This team and everything with Chelsea at the moment are giving me migraines.

I'd say there is a decent chance Bournemouth will finish above us now. They still have to play us after all. Hard to see where our next win comes from sadly.

There is something similar with us and Newcastle after their takeover. They almost got relegated at some point and now they are fighting for CL.

Went to the match, Murdryk played well but we’ve got too many similar players , small lightweight dribblers.. Brighton had big strong lads all over us… major clear out needed in the summer - Ziyech, Pulisic, Stirling … probably two seasons to sort this out though

At this point it wouldn't really matter who is interim. As soon as Boehly got rid of Potter it pretty well indicated to the players that they were already thinking about next season, and this one was done. Sure there is still the Champions League but that was always a long shot. The players all know that Lampard is not going to be here for long. A lot of them already know they will be leaving this summer. The new arrivals are probably totally confused playing for their 3rd manager in a matter of months. It is a total mess and all down to Boehly and the board. If lampard wants to win a few games after we lose to Madrid, he would have a better chance by playing the academy team. At leas they would play with some hunger.
