"You're all too hard on Jackson".

He's cost us a place in the F.A Cup final because he's so bad.

We're not too hard. He has a sh*t attitude and chokes when we need to count on him.

He didn't cost us a place at all. That's nonsense.

His movement created the chances, he just didn't put them away. No other player in our team could have had those chances.

That’s bollocks, no movement needed for that header that anyone with any ounce of football ability would put in.  Another centre forward and we win that match!

We should bring back Lukaku, he would never f**k up in a showpiece event against Man.City.

Any real attacker would be able to run that ball half of the pitch and score, anyone that is decent should be able to do it you don't need prime Kaka just anyone that is actually good.

Lukaku wouldn't stumble on the grass against Walker that's for sure. I don't know what they train, somehow everyone is getting injured but they don't even train the basics, playing 1v1 half pitch is something that every striker should have nailed down as a skill and Jackson couldn't shake off a 33 year old Walker.

How is it nonsense? First 1v1 is a strikers dream, he choked, and then played a sh*t pass to Palmer and wasted it. Second 1v1, again, a strikers dream, but he pulls off a weak shot and when Palmer immediately finds him with a perfect cross, his header is pathetic.

Jackson is sh*t and everybody brings out his goal stats to make him look better than he is. His hattrick against Tottenham makes the stats look better than they are. Literally any player in world football would have scored a hattrick that day. They wouldn't have needed as many attempts as Jackson needed that day either.

He acted like a complete w**ker with the penalty nonsense against Everton, and then when a moment falls for him to prove himself, he f**ks it up.

Come on man, that's ridiculous. Of course he cost us, he had chances that most strikers at this level will take at least one of, then there's the unnecessarily stupid backheels he does when a simple pass will do. He does good things but then let's himself down with stupid decisions, hesitancy and just outright sh*te finishing.

100% agree.  Jackson is f******* garbage.  The amount of times he ran with it and could have passed but hogged it.  A Demba Ba level of striker would have 2 today!

Morata could run with the ball half the pitch and score and he wasn't suited for the league. Jackson can't shake off a 33 year old Walker, that should be a striker's dream!

Yep, it's not even just his wastefulness in front of goal that was the problem, the amount of times he would turn well and then mess up the pass or fail to get a pass off altogether was frustrating.

I have calmed down now and won’t bash him at all.

We have had strikers who can’t even get into goal scoring positions let alone miss chances. The fact he keeps getting into these positions suggests he can be good player but currently lacks confidence.

Am not upset or even angry just disappointed.

I hope he learns and gets better.

He may love only fans - but only fans of opposing teams should be happy that he plays for us.

He cost us the game today and lost us a place in the FA cup final, by missing 2 huge chances (the header from 2 yards and the 1 on 1 where he couldnt even be arsed to shoot). He also missed another 1 on 1 (saved after a weak arse shot) and shat his pants when through on goal (falling over his own feet).

I see him praying and crossing himself after each miss - he needs to start f**king practicing and stop praying to get better.

Ba was a clinical striker. Far better than most of what we've had the past decade.

That’s what I mean, at the time he was a level below what we were used to, but at least 5 times better than Jackson.  A competent centre forward and we win today!

If/When we buy a forward in the summer, what would you do with him? He is the type to sulk on the bench and mope around when he is brought on.

sell him to bournemouth, or sheffield utd, or some other championship level team....

He absolutely cost us today. You can’t waste that amount of chances in a big match - especially against the quality of a team like City who don’t need half as many chances that we wasted.

He’s should be a left winger not our striker. If we don’t address the striker properly in the summer then we deserve another mid table finish again.

I believe this is a skill issue, he has the confidence you can actually see that he's full of himself.

Werner missed a lot but if you gave him space he would do well, Jackson looks like he's not even aware of what he's given.
