Just like poch, i dont like him very much.

I don't dislike Pochettino, I dislike his coaching. Jackson's whole personality just seems really dislikeable though. If he was a good player, he could be an absolute d**khead as much as he likes, but he's not so it sticks out like a sore thumb.

The fight he had over grabbing the ball for the penalty? Let's hope he shows as much fight against Stones and Akanji this weekend and against Saliba and Gabriel next week.

He doesn't strike me as the sharpest tool in the box.

Credit for the goal and assist, but this guy has so much growing up to do. From sliding into OnlyFans thot's DMs, to collecting yellow cards due to a lack of discipline, to randomly fighting for a penalty he was never going to take.

Chaotic first season.

Not sure how old you are but I'm not too old I can't remember what it's like to be young.

Of course in time he'll mature. Some people a lot older are still sliding into OF thots DMs talkless of a rich young mo'fcka with time on his hands. If not for social media being what it is, and those that like their moment in the spotlight to "expose"  such we wouldn't know. You think some of the Chelsea legends over the years when the equivalent of today's OF thots would have been the massage parlour masseuses or even kerb hookers, didn't try to score some? Hell even Avram Grant was busted in one of those places. Let the boy live.

Diego Costa was a card magnet and one of the pettiest players ever to play for us but universally loved. Only difference was he delivered the goods. Give Jackson time. He has potential.

Exactly this.

He’s infuriating at times but he’s had a decent return so far this season goal wise.

I don’t see him playing No 9 next season but he’ll be a decent back up and I see him competing for a more regular place with Mudryk on the left.

His goal was superb. Cucurella's cross was well behind him, yet he controlled it perfectly on his left, spun on a sixpence and whacked it in Drogba-style. Really good performance, also seemed to have an instinct for whatever cocky thing Palmer was going to do in the first half.

Said it before - he is rubbish.

Said it before - he is a d**khead.

Said it before - he shouldn't  be anywhere near our team.

Said it before - he is a brain dead, toxic twat, who more often than not is a hindrance.

He may love only fans - but only fans of opposing teams should be happy that he plays for us.

very objective post, and I agree especially with the OF part. Like Mike Summerbee once said footballers in the 60's and 70's got away with murder.

Yeah. sh*t players create embarassing situations and throw tantrums at their own teammates. Jackson is an arrogant twat and behaves like he is footballing equivalent of Messi and Ronaldo rolled into one. What's worse is that he seems to be taking Madueke down with him. We've already seen his petulance with the last minute penalty against Utd. This is another failure of the recruitment team who failed to assess his attitude before signing him.

I only saw it once in real time, looked like Madueke thought ( or felt) Palmer is out of contention as he's on the floor, decided to take the PK. Once Palmer was back and Gallagher stepped in to talk, he reluctantly ( understandable and relatable) handed the ball back . Then out of no where Jackson got involved, and made it all about him, then it got quite heated and toxic. In the end, he seemed to be the most upset one and didn't even want offer Palmer a congratulation. I think a proper punishment needs to be dished out, can't let 1 or 2 players go rogue or you will really lose the whole dressing room.

Insanity to go after him like this.. Drogba did the same with lamps too.. he did come across as arrogant at times .. picked up yellow cards.

Yes this is childish but we see it all the time with other clubs too .. I am sorry but he has done much better than Havertz, Felix, Ziyech, and a bunch of other players we have bought but don’t see the same abuse..

this is clearly in your head I don’t think it’s that big a thing that it deserves so much reaction.. storm in a tin cup.

Let the guy live he has finally started scoring we could do much worse than hire a “selfish” forward.. gawd neymar and cavani did it when they were national captains ..

I think the team will get over it .. part of learning curve .. the reaction here is over the top.. I am sure a few knobheads will also racially abuse him on social media ..

strikers want to score and I rather have a hungry striker than one who couldn’t care less

Again, don't really care about the penalty situation it's a minor incident blown out of proportion.

His performance was a bit Jekyll and Hyde, got better as the game went on mind and of course the goal was superb

Both Noni and Jackson were petulant and I don't know what goes through their heads especially after the Sterling incident.

None of them should be even thinking about picking the ball up if Palmer is on the pitch.

A goal and assist and still he's not good enough for some...

Drogba did the same in a much bigger game and he throwed a huge stink. Who cares, he wants to score goals, it didn't affect Palmer and when they're off the pitch the team will talk it through. I actually liked that Palmer stood up for himself this time, with Thiago and Conor butting in too.

I have come to the conclusion he is an instinctive player. A lot of times when he has time on the ball then he tries a very successful impersonation of a clown but a player like that, all the manager and coaches should do is recognise that and tell him to believe in his instincts and go for things first time. They could hone him into a lethal box finisher or throw him on the wings to run at players or even ask him to support a main striker from behind. Perfect example his link play with Palmer and also in pre season with Nkunku.

He is still in development stages and the fact I've just highlighted 3 or possibly 4 areas where he could develop and excel is to his credit.

Jackson is talented. He’s had to lead the line virtually every game. That goal he scored last night was excellent. He really had two assists.  Sure his behavior isn’t perfect, but he’s a striker. Strong, fast, good touch. Good on him.

If he doesn’t sort his attitude out we should think about selling him. Can’t be having players like that in the dressing room.

I disagree, and same for Noni. You want players who are hungry to score. Would you also say we should think about selling Noni because of his attitude?

If he was really hungry to score goals then he'd be working much harder on the pitch rather than walking around and getting booked for dissent. It's like saying we were great against Man Utd because we somehow scraped through 2 goals in extra time and won the game. Jackson has yet to show his hunger or talent on the field or that he cares about the team.

Not disliked a chelsea player as much as him for some time. He seems a thoroughly vile and braindead bit of work.

It may be in my head - it may be because he is a dick - or it may be because he is rubbish.... whatever the reason, I don't want his toxic behaviour near my team.

He thinks he's the sh*t, which is fine you have to believe in yourself.

With that said I'm worrying he's about to become some strange version of Rashford where it's like he shows up and gets the job done at times but overall doesn't have what it takes to actually be a top player. The team shouldn't be built around him just yet, he has a lot to prove.

As many people have said, he happily backed down when he was told Palmer is taking the penalty. I can understand him wanting the penalty, he won it after all.

Jackson on the other hand, how was it any of his business? Why did he get involved? And he still wasn’t happy even when Palmer converted the penalty.

If you really need an example of how players feel about Jackson look at Palmer’s reaction to Jackson while celebrating EDIT: celebrating first goal. I’ve seen it many times this season which makes me think he’s really not a likeable person. I like him as a player but as a person I’m not keen, he seems like a d**khead.
