This is a very good video showing united problem and this is not new.

A lot of fans are too obsessed with perfect position both offensively and defensively but as this video is showing, it can be make irrelevant easily.

Getting player into good position is actually the easiest to coach. Yet a lot of fans think that is the most important (it get worse because this is how most fanalyst analyze team and as you can see even in this forum it is very popular).

How do you defend/press from that position is far more important. This is actually the real coaching. Rashford is very lazy defensively. Can ten hag get him to press? If not, should he even play? If he should because he is your best attacker then can ten hag build and coach his team to cope with that.

10billion investment in clean energy from the oil state sounds like money laundering a bit... Reminds me of the Mudryk fee.

Took citeh 7 minutes to do against Forest what we couldn't do in 90+....score a goal...🙄

2 in 14 minutes.

But we know the story already, City is what Roman should have built. Now the new owners are trying every trick under the sun to get us there, but are making a right pigs ear of it.

They made it look easy too. Fast passes inbehind hitting byline with cross or pullback and first time shot on target. There are so many parts of their goals we simply don’t do

- too slow on ball and don’t have chance to run in behind

- inability to pick out the cross / pullback

- first time clinical finishing

other than that, we look good!

Sheff Utd haven’t lost by more than 1 goal this season and Spurs were lucky to get a win there thanks only to corruption, they’d get the better of us for sure; making this 8-0 thrashing all the more impressive.

Played away in the Champions League too. Just shows that all of this extra game bollocks is all in the head. If you're good enough, you can play 2 away games in a week.

Agreed. We clearly need more practice than we are going to get by playing one game a week !

Maybe a few mid-week friendlies behind closed doors. Start with a low bar for the opposition, so we can at least manage a few goals to boost the confidence !

Didn't help us last season tbf.

Plummeting in the league has been a work in progress since 2017.

It'll take us until probably December to accumulate 8 goals.

We can be thankful Luton and Sheff United are so bad that 18th is the lowest we can likely finished. However we need at least one more side more inept than us to join them.

It's amazing to see the turnaround that Simeone has made at Atletico in regards to their playing style. From ultra defensive to being a team that is more offensive. Incredible longevity to see a coach continue that level of consistency for the time he's been at it.

I'm not in the mood to watch other teams these days, it's like watching a different sports with the way teams attacking and scoring goals. Hate to say it, Spurs with a few signings looked a completely different team, and they just lose their best goal scoring output.

Without Kane in the past sometimes they improved as Son stepped up yet he only seemed to lead the line for a while will be interesting to see if they need to strengthen in December. They do have Maddison though he picks up a few injuries over a sesaon.

See Rice has picked up a knee injury, Arsenal had been looking good with Rice will be interesting to how long he is out.
