I think one of the problems though is there is still such a hangover from how bad last season was that all the doom and gloom is being carried into this one from the getgo. Pochettino has had four PL games. It’s too early to be fearing the worst IMO. It’s not as if Forest played chelsea off the park, creating chance after chance.
That should have been a game we either nick 1-0 or draw 0-0. Sloppy play gifted them a winner and meant their gameplan was even more negative after that.

Our place in the football pyramid is also changing. As it did for the better for us when Roman bought the club, so it continues to change now under the new owners.

Spending vast sums does not guarantee we remain one of Europe's top sides.

Declan Rice is head and shoulders the best player on the pitch ATM. Really leading by example.

Declan rice is a good dm 😱😱😱

You must be joking.

ETH is a moron ... cries about the referee when united got multiple OBVIOUS decisions in their favour already this season. Just think about the Onana non-penalty during the first game of the season.

Also calls losing 1-3 against Arsenal a step in the right direction. This guy is delusional. I hope he stays at united for a long time lol

Szoboszlai is a star. Still find it strange we knew all summer we needed a player of that profile, and let him & Maddison move to rivals for pennies without even putting in a bid.

If we sign Madison, murdyk will never ever play.

Declan Rice was superb all game.

And to think some people used to try and convince us he would never be as good as Jorginho. Ah, good times.

He has been their best player this season. The Arsenal team in general haven't been that impressive and I think that is down to Arteta trying to be like Pep too much but Rice has been outstanding. His passing is really good as well. Only 4 games in but I have seen enough to know he will be a stellar signing for them. I think as the season goes on, his presence on the pitch will provide their attack to be more devestating.

Lampard wanted him when he was coaching Chelsea. It's a shame that it never came to fruition.

I don't see why we don't use that semi automated offside system that was used in Europe, are there cases of it not being accurate?

With how useless refs are with VAR in general its hard to trust that they are being competent in drawing the lines and I hate that we never get to see an actual across the line camera angle (Which the automated offsides does give)

Rice has been in the league for many many years and he is proven to be good. You don't even need to be a scout to know this.

I see Jordan Henderson has really taken on the Scouse victim mentality, his interview recently is absolutely disgusting. Its not about money, and I`d like to keep backing those LGBTQ people I completely suckered but it would upset these lads who are paying me tons of money, so I wont.

What a c**t.

No, he's going to prison because he hacked computers and violated Portugal's privacy laws. There's no need to sensationalise.

Yeah, a real robin hood this guy isnt he: -

Prosecutors alleged that Pinto sought between 500,000 to one million euros (£429,400 to £858,800) from the head of Doyen Sports, Nelio Lucas, in order to stop publishing compromising documents.

Vermin looking to blackmail people, hope he rots.

I look at some of these teams near the bottom, and they have players better than us. Neto for Wolves is better than Madueke, Mudryk and Sterling. Bellegarde has had a better half of football than I have seen from any of our midfielders this season.

@Scott Harris, I'm starting to worry about your negativity this season, it's getting out of hand :empathy:

I'm aware, but if Chelsea didn't give me reason to be this negative, then it would soon change. I'm not just being negative for the sake of it, I'm saying what I see.

Well if Neto was kept on the bench with Matt Doherty put on the wing it would be a similar situation to ours.
