Good game. We need a bit more in attack. Maatsen not so convinced about. 

We'll take that. Jackson should of buried that chance in the first half but he displayed a well-rounded performance nonetheless. 

Very optimistic for this season given our depth and the fact we have no Europe. 

 

Gallagher making it incredibly difficult for us to get rid of him. Solid display.

Also thrown in against Liverpool for his first prem game defo not up to speed but think he will be good.

I think after the first 25 mins vastly the better team and tbh we should have won. A lot of positives. But badly badly need a dm.

Feels like we dropped 2 points but I'd have taken a draw any time before the start of the match. It should only be up, up and up from here.

We could critique and complain about not getting three points, but I’ve just thoroughly enjoyed a Chelsea game in what seems like forever!

Fingers crossed Reece is ok.

I will take the draw.  Just have to collect some wins against some of the weaker teams we have on the schedule coming up.

Not a terrible result. We were the much better team. So good to see us playing well again but still lacking in the final third.

I think on balance we were the better side - saw a lot of positives in our approach and performance, feels like a real transformation from last season. If we play every game with that spirit we will be worth watching.

Come on Chelsea!! 

 

We need a goalie, a DM and a winger/AM. All of this was on display today. After that is sorted we are a good side and with tons of promise.

A real battle but we never take any risks against Liverpool and we never win.

Poch really played the Tuchel formation but we attack faster and better, unlucky for Jackson not to score on his debut I really love that he took the number 15 just like Drogba started.

Clear again we need a striker, decent forward and we win

Sanchez clearly going to be much better under the high ball. We will get better I think. Good first up test.

Still not ruthless enough. Even when we dominated that half, we only really had two good chances in that 2nd half. The chance for Jackson that he hit straight at Allison and Mudryk at the end which he bottled.

After 20 minutes I was very worried.

The following 70 were absolutely brilliant considering this is a brand new team, manager and set up.

Really looking forward to the season 

Good game from us, but these sort of games should be won. We are still poor at finishing.

Nkunku would have been the difference today. Such a shame.
